PTL with SLAM and Gonk could be good. You can get those actions to get those shields back.
Doesn't work on the same turn. Gonk is not on your action bar, so it has to be the first action taken, and SLAM can never be a free action, so it has to be the first action taken.

You can do it with ASlam or EI though.

Not saying it won't be fun on emon, mind, but it's not super amazing or necessary. If you can SLAM and don't want/can't afford EU it's plenty fine for rebel arcdodging. If you can EU, though, you're going to EU

You can SLAM into other ships, though, and most of the time that means they won't be shooting you, so that could be considered a Good Thing™.
