Game #1 - Imps - 3 Raiders, Demo, VSD II, everything decked out for death - I went 2nd ... Superior Positions
I drove up with this opponent. We had what I would consider a close game. With no squadrons my firesprays did a number on his ships taking out 2 raiders and the demo. The raiders ganged up on and destroyed the VSD. The last opposing raider flew off the board. I lost 2 raiders. Game ended 9-1 to me. Great game, super fun. I always enjoy playing Ian and never have an easy go of it.
Game #2 - Rebs - Super Repair Fleet of Doom (SRFD ... TM) 3 CR90s (As and Bs), Neb (Salvation), MC80 (Home One) - I went 1st ... Dangerous Territory
I get lucky and face a second fleet with no squadrons. Dan chooses to play to win instead of castling for a draw so I am able to pick off all CR90s. I make a mistake on the last turn and lose my cheap Raider :(. Game ended 7-3 to me. Super game. Dan and I spoke a length anfterward about ways to expand the armada community in our region so I look forward to getting some headway in that.
Game #3 - Imps - ISD I, Demo, Raider, 2 Firesprays, IG-88, Rhymer, Dengar, Soontir Fell, Darth Vader - I went 2nd ... Precision Strike
So, I'm playing on the top table final round. The game was a lot of fun but sadly my opponent played a much better game than myself and won 3-7 to him. His squadron play and adherence to a tight fleet formation left me with no opportunities to exploit. I lost Ozzel and his Raider and all but Dengar of my squadrons for Vader, Fell, a Fire Spray, and Dengar.
All in all it was a great day. I'd been playing my fleet or variations there-of for about 3 months now and was really interested to see how it would do at the regional championship. Locally, I was doing very well but tournament experience has shown me that beating the local meta is not the same as beating people from other areas. I came in thinking might do well but having no expectations to do well. I just wanted good competition and the opportunity to learn something new ... and that I did! Oh, I came in 3rd and won a little bling.
On a side note, anyone using Litko measuring sticks for armada ... they are not measured correctly. I could not use mine since they are a bit off. Good thing I brought spares of the crappy paper one out of the starter set.

One more thing, my 3rd round opponent was the contentious one from the other thread. Nice guy, I had no issues and he did not have OE on his Raider or ECMs on his ISD I.

I actually developed something similar with tarkin to allow the raiders to activate two squads, wirh bombers instead of firesprays and a demo. Glad to a similar list work. Thanks for the AAR.

You're sure on that last part? Because THAT has me suspicious. I have pictures of the ECM card on his side of the table and he definitely used it during our game.

Also, you're fleet looked fantastic! It's a shame you don't have pictures to show it off. I was hoping to test myself against an all-Raider build. Maybe next time!
