I don't think so but i would like to get a clear answer.

Is the Bombardier standing? Yes. Why would he be excluded? It's a bomb, it doesn't discriminate.

Because when Bomber dribblesnot successfully tackles an opposing player, he chooses a standing player to become downed, and no risks for himself, so i was asking myself this question.

Bomber is a Star Player, of course he should have better abilities. For a run of the mill Bombardier, risk-reward like that comes with playing Goblins, sometimes you might knock down all opponents, sometimes you only knock down your own players with the bomb.

Bombardiers blowing themselves up is a relatively common occurence on the tabletop game and so in theme with the goblin team mindset that i am pretty certain of that interpretation. The bomb ability is great in team manager, so it has a downside to balance it out by being unreliable
