Where can I find the best solo rules? Playing a lonely investigator is impossible with the current rules! Unless arming yourself for the final battle...
Thanks

Simplest solo rule: use more than one investigator. I usually play with four investigators when I play solo (which is >95% of the time). It can be a challenge at first to manage more than one investigator, but the payoff is worth it since the game is much more fun.
Thats solo play. Solo investigator games need some tweaking. Here are my 2 top tips:
1) Draw mythos every other turn (or, resolve Gates on mythos only every other turn). Ignore this rule during setup, and open a second gate on turn 1s Mythos phase. So
Setup: draw mythos, open gate
1st turn: same
2nd turn: nothing (or, if this is too easy, ignore the gate opening)
3rd turn: Open gate
4th: nothing etc
2) Treat final battle as if there were 2 investigators for the purpose of removing doom tokens.
Bonus Tip: DEPUTISE ASAP!
Before drawing any Mythos card (except the first), roll a die, and add 1 to it for every elder sign on the board. If your result is 5 or higher, draw a Mythos card this turn. Otherwise, do not.
