Thanks to the Poe Dameron comic, this ship has a picture and to my surprise I'd seen it before. When I saw it in The Clone Wars CGI series I thought it looked and operated a bit too advanced for it's time. According to Wookieepedia, it was a ship used by Tarkin until he got an ISD.

Thats one is associated more with Tarkin in my opinion. Of course that doesn't mean it is a good idea, would even be a pretty cool way to release both OT and ST content with that ship.

Don't think its likely to come out any time soon, though. If FFG releases a new epic at all thats going to be something for scum.

Even I'd like to see Scum get two Epics first.

Little further digging comes up that this is a Stealth Ship called Carrion Spike. The original Stealth Ship was less than 100 meters, and Tarkin's ship the Carrion Spike was based on that design and measured about 150 meters.

The Carrion Spike is based off the Stealth Ship from TCW.

Looks quite phallic. I can already imagine the nicknames for that one...

One person saying "people didn't want....." hardly speaks for the entire community. How many "people" hate the Raider (I do) and how many think it's cool?

You are the first person I see to dislike the Raider (although I wasn't active when it was announced)! I love it and everything it stands for. Its amazing that FFG got that level of recognition from Lucasfilm.

The Lancer-class Frigate looks like a contender.

I was hoping FFG would squeeze the scale to give us the Imperial Cruiser from SW:Rebels. (With Dock/Deploy rules for Shuttles and TIE's.) I think it wouldn't be too big, just 5-6" longer than the Raider? Then perhaps they will design a Mon Calamari ship.

I thought it looked like a spear. Short hilted spear like those used by Zulu's.

Oh! I like the CLone Wars model of it. I can get behind that as a ship. It has enough details in it to be interesting even though the base outline isn't that complex.

This one looks much less boring and would make for a much cooler mini.

Interestingly, it could come with a First Order pilot (Terex), a Scum/Rebel pilot (Berch Teller),and an Imperial pilot (Tarkin), and maybe a generic pilot for the one faction without a named pilot.

With it having a built in stealth system, it would be cool to package it with a TIE Phantom and some new pilots (including 2 different possible rebel pilots flying the Phantom). The scenario could be some sort of stealth test or rebels stealing the Phantom. You could also make title for the phantom that gets rid of stealth and makes it the V-38. All this would have to be recanonized. Other than Rookie One's origin being almost EXACTLY the same as Luke's it isn't a bad story. If they really wanted to throw in another small ship that doesn't have a second ship, Rookie One flew a Y-wing.

I've got a feeling that a Scum epic ship will also include new ship cards and a dial to re purpose and Imperial Gozanti as a scum ship.

YEAH... It would not hurt my feelings at all to get this badass bastard into ARMADA... but it is way to big for FFG to use in our first love: X-WING.
