Sorry. I was about to post in another exhausting thread about how "OMG FFG is teh devil because a for-profit company is holding my family at gunpoint and forcing me to buy teh ships", and I literally don't have the strength to click on another "fix the T-65" thread. So here's an alternative.
Rather than contribute to those threads bouncing back to the top of the queue with every earnest or snarky response, here's a YV-666 I modded and painted.
I miss seeing repaints and mods in this forum. I miss checking the forums for actual discussion and theory... I like coming here but the constant barrage of whining and negativity is exhausting. So, more threads with mods/repaints, please. More threads of fun discussion, please.
Anyway, I did this quite a while ago after getting my second YV. I cut off the bridge and modded it to the aft section, made a new bridge out of a pen cap and plasticard, mounted a cannon to the belly, remounted the wingtips to the tops, and cut some exposed panels on both sides revealing some "guts".
