LEGOS! (Totally Actually X-Wing Related)

By Caboose2900, in X-Wing

So, I saw someone at the Stele Open last weekend with a bleacher set up of Lego minifigures for the Empire that he would place next to the play area as a good luck charm of sorts. His father had a similar set up for Rebels.

I got to thinking, I sure do have a lot of old Star Wars Legos in my basement gathering dust. So I decided to make my own, starting with Scum because that's what I play.

Then I made the rest... because why not?

I'm missing two figures that are coming in the mail (slave Leia and the Emperor), but they are complete other than that.

I played a father of a father-son group that did the same thing last year. I even commented on the cheering section. I lost terribly. I think he drew strength from the cheers. I thought it pretty cool.

Careful with that one guy with the helmet pulled over his face in the scum section. Could be an enemy agent in disguise.

Before a card comes out that has a corresponding Lego character, I always just use the mini figure as the card, I've done it for Kallus, the emperor, kanan, Hera, chopper, and I'm planning on doing the same fore Finn and Rey. They're fun little reminders of the card and my childhood

1 LEGO brick.

LEGO, the brand.

A lot of LEGO, the plural.

The plural of LEGO is LEGO.

I was waiting for someone to pick up on that, though I thought it'd be gadge.

Cool :D

I love how they have all those special heads now like Greedo and Zuckuss, but Ig-88 just has the oldschool coneblock with a light thingy on it

"IT'S" Base? I think not.....

It's? that means It is, which isn't what he said. He said its, which is the proper possessive of the word it.

To the OP, that's a great idea. I have a ton of Legos sitting around on display. I may have to do this someday.

Congratulations on on making a point of correcting me, yet actually missing my point.....

You had a point?

1 LEGO brick.

LEGO, the brand.

A lot of LEGO, the plural.

I started playing with Legos in late 70's. They've been "Legos" my whole life. Just like I call tissues "Kleenexes", and once upon a time, it was always called "xeroxing", though these days "copying" is just easier.

Official nomenclature is usually just there to attempt to preserve trademarks. Hasbro never uses the word "transform" as a verb in reference to their Transformers line, because it would make the word "Transformers" descriptive, and thus, not something they can trademark. So they never use that term as a verb in their own official documents. Try telling anyone who plays with them that Transformers don't transform, though, and you're likely to get some very odd looks.

Good luck trying to stop a hurricane by standing in front of it, completely unbraced, though!

What is the actual point?
