Help With My Build Please

Tell me what's wrong with this build.

Omega Leader: Juke, Comm Relay (26)

Inquisitor: Title, PTL (29)

Colonel Vessery: HLC (42)

Vessery tag teams with Omega since Omega stays locked, and the Inquisitor just is awesome. I don't have auto-thrusters or those would obviously be on the Inquisitor.

Well, I guess my first question would be: what do you think is wrong with it? Have you flown it? What went wrong? What went right?

You could drop the HLC for a Mangler Cannon. That would allow you to use your secondary weapon at range 1-3 instead of just 2-3, and the 3pts you gain can be used to put Stealth Device on Omega Leader making him one real slippery SOB.

Looks fine to me, but you could drop HLC for alternative upgrades.

VI on Vessery would be useful since it brings him to PS8. That means you now have more options if OL and Inquisitor are locking different targets. Furthermore, Inquisitor gets to actually use his TL since he can fire after Vess.

With the remaining 6 points, you could go for a combination of (1) stealth device on Omega, (2) hull upgrade on Vess, or (3) Proton Rockets on the Inquisitor. PRockets on the Inquisitor makes all 3 of your ships high priority and will help take some pressure off Omega and Vess.

I get stealth device and prockets, but is a hull upgrade really worth it.

I've been running a list very similar to this one for weeks. I have VI on Vessery for a couple of reasons. First, it lets me get an advantage over brobots and simul fire against common PS 8 pilots; second, it allows him to leech from Inqi's target lock as well as Omega's, greatly increasing your flexibility in shooting; and third, it allows Vessery, who normally doesn't crit, to strip shileds for Inqi and Omega, who can and do crit. That said, I also use autothrusters on Inqi, who needs the defensive help. You could leave off VI and take hull or stealth on Inqi. I wouldn't take prockets in the list as written because they're more of a situational luxury item as opposed to a necessity.

Oh, other reason for VI on Vessery: activating all ships at 8 helps you in certain situations like if you have to self-block or avoid self-blocking, etc. But if you take VI on Vess and don't have auto, I'm struggling to think what I'd spend two points on
