Widespread panic

2 question about this mission:

the wounded citizen are treatened as heroes. but if they have to make a test, since no other value is given to them they automatically succed the test, or fail it?

We won this mission and the reward section state: the Eroes will gain 100 gold.

This is it means the whole party gets 100 gold, or is 100 gold for heroes?(in our case 400 gold)

I dont remember the quest, but if the quest does not provide any information, the test is a automatic fail.

If the reward say: "If the heroes win, they receive 100 gold" (not per hero), its only 100 gold for the party.

Kraisto nailed it.

Thnaks very much guys.

one last question: during the heroes placment we have to place the miniatures in the swamp tiles (a 6X4 square tiles). than we have to place the Ally "Vera" thats is considered an Heroes adjacent to us.

We place ourself to one of the edge of the "swamp tiles". Can we place "vera" adjiacent to us in the adjiacent map tile? or she HAVE to be in the Swamp if there are enogu spaceces to place her?

Same story for the OL monsters

I think you should place Vera adjacent to heroes and still on swamp tile. Same for monsters.

There is no explicit instruction for Vera to be placed on the Marsh, just adjacent to a hero.

There isn´t, but if Vera is treated as hero figure, I suppose it should be as following:

-5 Heroes (4 players and Vera) start in Marsh.

-Additionally Vera has to be adjacet to other hero.

Correct me if I´m wrong, people.

While that's certainly a valid thematic interpretation, it does not fit with the way "figures treated as heroes" have been described in the rulebook or FAQ. Specifically, Vera is not a hero- she is a figure treated like a hero. That means (according to the FAQ) that she's considered a hero for:

1) hero abilities (including skills, Hero Abilities, Heroic Feats, potions, weapon effects)

2) monster abilities (such as Fire, Aura, or Howl)

3) attacks

4) OL cards that target heroes ('when a monster attacks a hero' is a valid trigger for 'when a monster attacks Vera'.)

Everything else: Plot cards, quest rules (including setup), travel cards, etc do NOT consider Vera to be a hero.

Examples:

2 heroes + Vera does not mean group limits for 3 heroes.

Travel card, "each hero tests might" does not include Vera.

"If the Overlord has fatigue tokens equal to the number of heroes..." does not include Vera.

Note that the above rules/ distinctions apply equally to things like the reanimate or the wolf.

You got me there.

@Zaltyre

that makes much more sense to me
