Flashing lights damage smoke!

By Lyraeus, in Star Wars: Armada

go to a $1 store and get some battery powered tea lights and some fiber fill. We have been making these things for less then a $1.50 for years.

you spray some black on a ball of the fiber fill pull it open and shape it to show the white insides and tack glue it to the light. you can make 10 of them for the cost of 2 of these.

what exactly is fiber fill? is it safe? what about cotton balls and things?

It's just polyester fibers used for stuffing...er...stuff. It's exactly as safe as the shirt that you're wearing.

What if I'm wearing a shirt made from the skin of my dead enemies?

I'd rather just paint my smoke with fire effects instead of using led-powered smoke that can break, needs replacement batteries eventually, etc.. but its nice that the option is there.

Like some of the other guys have said, it is just stock pillow stuffing Brah we all sleep on it and such.

;)

Then you're a wuss. Everyone knows a real warrior wears the skin of their still living enemies. Just in case you need more to make alterations in the future. ;)

--edit--

Almost forgot. I would respectfully request those of you in the know post either a link to a tutorial on making the cost effective version of these, or even be so kind as to make one if you have the ability? I have no doubt many here would appreciate it greatly. My thanks (and I'm sure the thanks of many others) in advance!

Fiber fill is pillow stuffing available in any craft store or department store. also used in winter coats, sleeping bags, stuffed toys etc. (sorry I though everyone would have know what it was)

http://www.amazon.com/Fairfield-Poly-Fil-Premium-Polyester-12-Ounce/dp/B000YZ7G44/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1462649112&sr=8-2&keywords=fiber+fill

and Tea lights do flicker / flash when on, to simulate a real flame. :) the batteries last for years unless you forget to turn them off. all colors are available if you shop around.

48 for $21.99

these two links will cost about $12 and get you 12 tea lights and enough Fiber fill to make 24+ more markers.you would just need a can of black spray paint. uncolored fire colored Tea lights cost even less.

sorry guys I was on my way to bed when I first posted. have fun making some. they are quite easy and fast to make.
