Omega Leader & 3 TAPs

By zerotc, in X-Wing Squad Lists

I've been flying the following with some success, but I'm just wondering if people have suggestions or criticism.

Omega Leader [Juke, Comm Relay]

Inquisitor [AT, PTL, title, XX-23 Tracers]

Sienar Test Pilot [Concussion Missiles, Guidance Chips, title]

Sienar Test Pilot [Concussion Missiles, Guidance Chips, title]

Against low agi ships like Ghosts and Shuttles, I usually use the Inquisitor's Tracers to pass off TL/evade onto Sienars who have focused. The Inquisitor gives up his shot, but enables almost guaranteed 4 hits and dual tokens for defense on the Sienars. Similarly, Omega Leader gets a free lock, so I usually have Focus/Evade/TL ready to roll.

Against aces, I've been relying on the TAP dial to force blocks and launching missiles when I have the chance. Other than that, it's Omega Leader doing his usual sniping. Having 2 unpredictable blockers (3 if you count the Inquisitor) has been key for a lot of my match ups so far.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are and if there's an obvious way to improve this list that I'm missing.

Thanks in advance.

Looks alright to me!

Yeah, looks good. Only thing to really think about is perhaps the missiles on the Sienars depending on what your weakness is. Like drop one down to Ion Missiles for control on those pesky large low agi ships. One of those on a YV-666 and you get behind him and stay behind him. Or adv homing missile at beginning of game can change things around real quick. Forcing ship to PS0 with damaged cockpit, or all turns are red. Can really mess up your opponent. I had a VCX Hera Navigator and got hit with a damaged cockpit early. Pretty much ****ed me over. Then with extra pt you could upgrade a concussion to a homing missiles for anti-ace or assault for anti-swarm. Just something to think about.
