So the GR75 is a utility transport, essentially the pickup truck of deep space.
Does that mean that anyone actually willing to field an all-GR75 force must call it the Flight of the Toyotapocalypse?

I'd consider it...
12 of the Transports, Cracken, 134 points of Squadrons and a strategic upgrade or two.....
Cracken has me thinking og the high speed M30 fleet again
As my rebel playing friend pointed out
Slicer tools + Quantum title = potential to slice 2 ships in one round with one flotilla
MWUHAHAHAHA!!!! I am so doing that!
slicer tools gets exhausted when you use it...so one ship only.....

Nope, Slicer Tools is exhaust on use. Noticed this a couple days ago.
crap, I should read whole post before I jump on stuff....lesson learned....
So the Medium Transport with Raymus and Expanded Hangar Bays is only 30 points for 4 squadron activations.
30 points. 4 Squadrons.
Jimminy Christmas, Batman.
General cracked is so **** underwhelming!!!!! Another defensive upgrade that's basically montferret for everyone. Boring.
Useful but **** boring.

and will pack its own Bomber Command if you want for under 40.
The wave 3 vassal extension has been updated to include all Gozanti AND Rebel Transport previews:

So probably 20 of them, at 3 hull a piece means 60 hull, and speed 3... oh, yeah, they can't ram. Take that CR90 build to the next level. ... the fleet that never gets tabled?
15 armed ones equals 45 hull points. Not enough for a swarm to really be effective in my opinion.
So what objectives? Dangerous territory. Opening Salvo. Contested Outpost.
For contested outpost you have to lose 5 (armed) or 6 (unarmed) to lose the game, Opening Salvo sounds terrifying with 15 of the damned things. Dangerous Territory is less forgiving, only generating a possible 90 points, or 4 of them lost.
Tractor beams may see use, to slow the hell out of Demolisher. An unarmed plus tractor beams is only 24 points. Have 2 of them or so.
Yes, tractor beams!
Well, the combat refit is pretty lackluster and I don't see any reason to really take it unless you have the spare points. I'll most likely run two of these guys with squadrons to use both of those titles.
I was certainly crackin' up over the new commander. Too soon?

Nah, you can't bottle those up inside...
You gotta...
... just...

If the new general is taken then tractor beams may be more prevalent in the opposition, especially if they can slow down your admiral carrying transport to speed 2 to stop the obstructed shot.

The thing about that is the Blue anti-squadron die is pretty valuable. Strictly as an anti-squadron platform it is pretty efficient. With Toryn Farr nearby a pair of Combat Retrofits could do some solid damage to squadrons.

That's a pretty good idea. Problem I see is, he's not particularly scary, which means I don't see him being particularly likely to incite people to take direct responses in the form of currently-unpopular counters. Unless we start setting him dominate top tables or something like that.
That's totally knee-jerk and I have no basis for it, it's just what I see happening.
New Rebel stuff is online on Warlords!
Missing Torin Farr I think.
Well these sure make the Gozanti look overpriced.
I think people are overlooking the combat retrofit. . .
Last night WWPDSteven had a game with a Mon Mothma TRC90 fleet (and 1 Yavaris) where he went second and his opponent picked his Fire Lanes. Here he showed the advantages of spreading the tokens out. This will allow the GR-75 Combat Retrofit to hold one token if a Fleet is split. In 2 turns it can make more than its cost and just sit in the area. After 6 turns you have profited so much that you are laughing all the way to the bank.
That is just the yellow objective. Whale about Most Wanted? Each Combat Retrofit is shooting 2 blues at the target ship. Intel Sweep? You have a 24-25 point ship with a scatter and speed 3 (faux speed 4 with the title) that is picking up tokens.
I think these lil guys are going to be amazing

And now think about selecting Medium Transport as your Most Wanted ship. This will make Most Wanted a never-pick objective (the way Advanced Gunnery was in ISD lists until recently)
I was really looking forward to forward arc Liberties to complement Nebs, and a Interdictor doing who knows what, but honestly. These little guys are gonna change the game in a good way I think.
But I really hope we don't go another year before the next wave. I will go crazy.
