Would be awesome to see TR-8R (FN-2199) as a crew card. What abilities could he have? Maybe something opposite of Finn (when he is revealed)?

Indeed. Phasma felt like a bit of a letdown, especially given the actress. This would have let you see (a) okay, she's actually badass, and (b) someone in stormtrooper plate go down but not killed from a gunshot. You know, as if they were wearing body armour....

Not waiting to derail the thread to much but I agree with this. It would have been her redeeming moment and also giving her capture later on by Finn a bit more meaning.

Maybe someone can do a limited special edition, directors anniversary Disney approved, Lucas effects cut version and replace him with Phasma.

I can't believe how easily Phasma rolled over. When she stood up from letting the shields down i thought for sure she was going to be like "I just alerted everyone, while also locking you in this room. You may think you can kill me but you'll never get out alive"

but instead it was like "Yo I put the ships defenses down but I totally trust my crew of historically-useless stormtroopers will get you good!

I'm praying she has a scene where she rips apart Resistance Soldiers in the second movie.

How about:

"Gain one attack against a ship in the Resistance faction" That could be kinda cool? Faction specific upgrades? And not just like "rebels' but it has to be "resistance" not super good in a tourney scene but pretty cool for fluff and casual play.

Agreed, TR8r (fn2199) actually did something, he kicked finns tail in that fight. Boba fett does jack and then falls into the sarlac pitt.

I like dead people to stay dead (like Boba), but I'd be willing to forgive them for having fn2199 not die from that shot.

I just hope we get to see more of THIS type of storm trooper combat in the coming movies.

Boba Fett wasn't totally useless... he did track the Falcon to cloud city. And Deliver Han to Jabba.

Honestly Tee Ar - Eight Ar sounds way better than any side cannon that Disney brings up. They should have kept his name as TR-8R. Heck he should have been captain and not Phasma.
