hi there Last night had a interaction with Hounds Tooth.

Kavil shot and killed Hounds tooth. so we had the same pilot skill and the hounds tooth title kicks in. Does the z-95 come out and not allow boosk to shoot. or should he get his shoot first then let the pup comes out.

normally I would just say he shoots first but the fact the hounds tooth card specifically stats that he doesn't get to shoot this turn means I'm not so sure

I'm assuming Bossk had not yet shot and remained on the board due to Simultaneous Fire.

If so, Bossk is not destroyed until after his Simultaneous Fire shot has taken place, and the Pup is not deployed until then.

When the Pup deploys it doesn't get to shoot.

The simultaneous fire rule applies here. Because Kavil and Bossk have the same PS Bossk has his opportunity to shoot with the YV-666 before it's destroyed. After taking his shot the normal sequence of removing the destroyed ship is interrupted by deploying the Z-95, and finally the Hounds Tooth model is removed.
