Hey guys,

I'm thinking of running a PtL Dengar (56pts) at a local SC. Any ideas what to run him with? Can't decide!

Dengar build:

Ship 33

PtL 3

K4 3

Punishing One 12

Unhinged Astromech 1

Engine Upgrade 4

Drop PTL for LW. Drop EU. Support with PTL Manaroo!

Dengar can outfly aces with PTL and EU, you then green move every turn TL and there isn't much they can then do

As to what to fly it with

I'm currently stuck between

Option 1

Guri - lone wolf, autothrusters, glitterstim, title, sensor jammer

Option 2

N'Dru - cluster missiles, glitterstim, lonewolf, chips

Binayre pirate - feedback array

Both of those look good, thanks. Gives me some ideas. I looked at Guri, but sadly don't have sensor jammer or advanced sensors and the empty systems slot makes getting close enough to 100 quite hard.

That's too bad! I'd go with Guri, title, Sensor Jammer, Predator, Autothrusters, and a few points to play. Probably Flechette Torps and some illicit.

Maybe N'Dru w/ Homing Missile, GC, and VI plus two Z-95's.

I had the same issue. Love that Dengar but nothing decent to pair him with. He can't solo 100 points unfortunately. I ended up with bossk or igg88 b

I've just bought a Hounds Tooth, so Bossk or a Slaver might be my eventual choice. Thanks for the ideas so far.

I went 2-1 (1-1 against JM15k) in a tiny, 8-man tournament using a not-as-fat Dengar with Fett, even placing second overall. Took Dengar with VI, K4, Unhinged, Stim, and Title; Boba with VI, Tactician, Stim, and Engine Upgrade. I had a ton of fun flying the two together. Against Palp Aces with Whisper, they kill, because you're always shooting when she is either uncloaked or cloaked and not shooting. Boba ends up being super tanky and usually goes the distance in the long game. I recommend trying it out and seeing how you like it though.
