Kylo Rens concept fighter

Is this the prototype?

Why on earth didn't they use that for the movie?? That looks way better than the derivative recolor they actually used.

Ok ok, but isn't this just an Intercepter with the wings cut in half and the bottoms moved to the top? I honestly think with a TIE advanced for the body and some wing adjustments this could be fabricated for casual games.

I don't really mind the TIE/fo too much (it makes some sense in-universe that a group so overtly trying to be Empire 2.0 would copy the iconic apearance of the Empire's most common fighter), but the First Order better not bring in recolored Interceptors and Bombers next movie. That would be too much.

I don't know, the colors grew on me after awhile, now I want to see interceptors and bombers in these colors, though with a bit more physical alterations than an antenna and panel design.

It reminds me a lot of the Sith Fury Class Interceptor.

Re TIE/FOs: I always thought it was more a retrofit than a new manufacture, making them easy to get more just from the (undoubtedly) massive stockpiles of TIE/LNs.

That leaked ship looks incredibly agile judging by the slopes on its wings.

4agi ship perhaps?

Furry class interceptor? Is that what Chewie flies when he's done with the falcon?

I'd fly 2!

Cuz in the vacuum of space, wings matter.

When Kylo steals the falcon in Episode VIII FFG will make a new falcon with First Order pilots.

And a pentagonal dish.

If it's black and white with a red cockpit...

Does anyone else hope FFG will include Kylo Rens fighter that was spoiled awhile ago? Because let's face it:

-He's Han Solos (PS9) son

-Worships grandpa Vader (PS9)

And he's a whiny wannabe who throws tantrums (PS5).

I'm good with all the above, including the Rage EPT. What's the release date?

Huh...that's...exactly what it looks like.

Was this added to the game recently?

Yeah, in December 2011 :P

Maybe someone found an old concept for TOR and mistook it as a TFA concept?

Actually it's totally one fury .
Much more akin a decimator (a big one) than a tie. In game will be an epic ship, just a little bigger than a rebel transport (in epic scale), or like 4 ghost link together (in standard scale) with very few crew and equip options, but much more agile than a tipical epic ship, and well armed (anyway, is an old republic ship, more than 3'5k years before the core game, i don't see FFG deploying any old republic ship in the near future).

So it would be safe to assume that even if it hasn't been shown on screen that Rens likely a pretty capable pilot and with Poe now at PS9, it makes logical sense that the First Order would get a PS9 pilot. So, would they toss him in a TIE/sf or give him a unique fighter?

His PS is actually the average of Han and Leia's. That's why Luke is only an 8 (Padme has a PS of 7).

No. The fighter seen here is absolutely a TFA concept.

What people don't know, or just aren't saying, is that the standard-colored one? That's another artist's rendering of it.

I mean, just look at all the details. A lot is different between the two. I am absolutely not saying look at the Fury.

Cuz in the vacuum of space, wings matter.

Center of mass, heat displacement, thruster locations. Shapes matter in all environments.

Oh TIE Avengers are back, baby!

Kylo Ren's Shuttle needs to come with this crew card:

I'm about 90% sure this is a Kylo Ren crew card.

Actually they do, just not in the same way Plane wings do.

Theres still space dust out there, and having the wings in a certain shape can graetly impact its center of mass i.e. its turnability. It also impacts the placement of maneuver jets, which you'd HAVE to have in space in order to move. Starwars ships arent modeled with this in mind but in reality you need jets in all directions if you were to try and move in space without abusing orbital patterns like we do in the current day.

If the angle of your wing allowed your thrustor to give you optimum rotation on a moments notice, your barrel-rolls would be lightning quick. Wouldnt affect your overall forward speed though.

*Aileron roll.

but, yeah. That.

Yes i know its technically called an Aileron roll.

Starfox supersedes my Avionics background in my head lol
