I have a LARP event this weekend. Yes I'm that kind of nerd. So if I don't get to my character today (not likely), I wont be able to until the beginning of next week. I'm sorry.
OMG how I missed this message.. I love you more now! ![]()

I'm still working on a backstory and I need to move the sheet over to SWSheets.com, but in there meantime, here's Bii-Mii Wuu - or "Bii" to his comrades.
Very nice indeed
On a side note I would happily have everyone use OggDude's generator but I do most of my posting from my phone, oh and I don't have a functioning PC! Haven't jumped the hoops to run it on my Mac yet. My sons birthday is coming up and we are considering fixing my 5 year old PC for him, Minecraft of course, if we do I'll happily consider it.
Edited by RichardbuxtonI can't use OggDude's character creator. I only have a Raspberry Pi 2, so it can't run it. I'll see if I can get it working though.
Several questions regarding my character.
1) I have 600 credits left unspent. Would it be reasonable if I used 60 credits to acquire a proton grenade? Also, should my remainingcredits go to Teles?
2) To elaborate on my background, I think that a couple of points should be resolved. Did Teles bring EMC with him,or was the droid found by him on the celestial body we currently reside on? Would it be okay if my character still viewed the Empire as the political body it arose from?
Grenade approved. Keep the credits, your a self aware droid with places in your chassis to hide things, besides you never know when someone may need bribing!
I'm happy for you to decide, there is a collection of Droids on the planet, more specifically in the Processing Plant. Teles is one of the people responsible for repairing all the droids, it could be that he saw use in having a Droid assistant and made some of the changes to you, some of them could already have been done in a previous life for you. Or you could have been shipped here with his things and be in the camp, although with the current situation the Empire are just as likely to claim you and put you to work in the Plant anyway!
Teles is fine without the credits, he places "stashes" in all the droids he makes. But, he feels differently about E=MC Squared, as it was the first droid he tinkered with/built.
So I'll be having you all start within the Gungan camp, living there and working at the Plasma Plant. I'm happy for you guys to get creative coming up with the jobs you have been assigned there, it's a factory so all sorts of tasks are required. Management is handled by the Corporation running the plant so steer clear of that.
The camp started out as a temporary place set up by the corporation (still needs a name) until more permanent residences could be built, but once the Imperials came in its become a permanent camp with poorly maintained services, barley any power of amenities, it's little better than a slave camp. The imperials have yet to enforce themselves directly in the camp, but often Gungans are punished publicly for being slack or late or disobedient. The corporation shows no signs of trying to fix things either.
The crews on the Mining Rigs get rotated occasionally, you may have been there on the past too.
Edited by RichardbuxtonCool. Couple of questions to get bearings...
a. is there any rebel force interested in our plight, and could we be one of them? Are we under cover?
b. Is there a work gang? Could one of us be the boss?
c. Is there only labor stuff? Are there any specialist jobs on this camp? Technic/Science/Leadership crew, etc.
I will supply today a sheet on the site and an ogg gen.
I was hoping to start you off as an uprising group with no connection to the Rebellion, that would be something to explore at a later time. Now that doesn't mean you haven't had connections with Rebels or the Rebellion in the past, just that you don't have any direct connection to them now,
I'm imagining quite a large population of Gungans, roughly five hundred at least, with perhaps half that number of Humans on the moon, so there are plenty of jobs to be done, technicians, gang leaders, labourers, medics, and I'm sure plenty more I'm not thinking of right now.
Edited by RichardbuxtonEdited post #2 to incorporate some of the ideas I have put forward, mainly that this colony was originally set up by a Corporation and that now the Empire has taken over.

So, simalar to the Rebels TV show? Teles got the boot on Naboo from his father, *cough* General Tarpals *cough*, And he took EMC with him. Since he came to O7(Abrreviation of planet) he has fixed up two HK-Series droids, in his spare time. He works a technician/mechanic/programmer on the planet and the docking rings, sometimes.
Yeah similar to Rebels, a little bit of Hogans Heroes, perhaps a splash of Inglorious Bastards... Let's see where it goes. Let's just keep in mind that life sucks right now if your Gungan on O7, if your Human it's quite comfortable.
What is our grup resource?
Also, how about the J.J.B corperation, or its full name: the Jar Jar Binks Corperation.
But, in all seriousness, how about The Nanug Corperation, the Naung Coperation, the Trumpum corperation, the Notclin Corperation, or the Srednas Corperation.
I'm hoping everyone is happy to have a base as the group resource, I mentioned it earlier, but we haven't really discussed it. Any ideas for where it could be, it's going to be quite basic to begin with, essentially a safe house to store equipment and supplies you don't want the Imps to know about, as well as a place to meet.
The places I thought of so far are:
In some underground room or area of the Plant, a store room or unused workspace.
A small dugout hidden under a tent in the camp
A Cave in the jungle not far from town/camp
A service room under a building in the actual town, somewhere accessible to the Gungans who are essentially house keepers etc.
Any other ideas?
Srednas Corporation? Sounds cool, name plucked from nowhere or is it inspired by something? My best so far had been PlasCorp, very original ![]()
Try reading the name backwards, then google the name. That would be my "Insperation". Also, instead of 1000credits of additional gear, can I have a workshop, as per the rules in the back of Special Modifications?(Will post them if needed.)
Haha you Americans and your crazy politicians, I should call them Turnbullsh IT Corp in honour of our own election campaign.
Happy for you to have the Workshop, what's the benefits? I'm assuming easier mechanics checks in some way?
Workshop:"After a workshop is accquired choose one skill. While using the workshop, may perform chwcks using that skill without penalty. In addition the workshop may have 5 Advanced benefits.(Up to GM although there are some suggestions.) and it may hold up to 30 Encumbrance of supplies."
Edited by GMRenI'll post some advanced benifits later. And you can determine the price on them.(Max Brooke on the Order 66 podcast said the price was up to the GM. But, not only that, there is no listed price for the upgrades.)
Ok nice, so it's pretty much a tool kit in a room ![]()

Yeah, except it can get better. Can I have one advanced benefit as well? (As like you said it's a tool kit in a room.)
What are you getting rid of from your character to pay for these by the way? You already have 2 sweet sets of tools that halves crafting/repairing time (wow) and removes 2 Setback from Mec/Comp checks whilst also upgrading every Mech/Comp check! Those things are awesome by the way, talk about sweet!
I'll think about the advanced benefit, probably go back and listen to the O66 episode again too.
Pay for what?

The 1000cr for the workshop to start with, or did you really manage to get both tool kits, the modular rifle, light armour, and HK droid for 2500 credits? if you made them then those dice rolls need to be made, wouldn't want to miss out on some fun flaws would we!
I'll ditch the Hk-droid, and the tool kit. Light armor=250
Modular rifle=1000. I think I may have processed the fact that we had a base, and added 1000 credits to my funds, then forgotten.(Sorry!) After I made some changes to a few proggrams.(Computer Science all the way!)
