Ok Bii may take a free maneuver before anything happens.
Bip gets his guns out and spots the Crocodile coming towards them in the dark, getting to act before it can reach them.
Bip-Bip will double-aim and shoot at the croc with both blasters. What’s the difficulty?

Close Range, 1 Setback for Defence, increased difficulty once for TWC with the same skill DDS.
Oh, crap. If it’s that big, then Bip-Bip is going to use his “Call ‘em” talent to remove all setback to called shots. So, one aim maneuver will be a called shot for the eyes, and the second aim maneuver will give him a boost die.
And if the Croc hasn’t acted this encounter, then I think Bip-Bip should get another boost die from his Quick Strike talent.
So, if I’m correct, that should be two yellow dice and two green dice for Ranged Light, one boost for aiming and one boost for Quickstrike, plus the two difficulty dice and the one setback die for ranged defense.
So, in Orokos parlance, I think that should be 2eA+2eP+2eD+1eS+2eB. So, here’s the roll:
Roll to shoot out the eyes of the croc: 2eA+2eP+2eD+1eS+2eB 3 successes, 1 advantage, 2 Triumph
Base damage for these paired carbines is 9, so that’s twelve damage from the first shot, spend the Advantage to get the second shot from the other carbine (also twelve points of damage), plus I have two Triumphs to spend.
Can I assume that the thing is still alive and now it’s SERIOUSLY pi$$ed-off at us?
I’m thinking maybe we want to spend those Triumphs so that it is not only blind but also disoriented and unable to take any Actions or perform any Maneuvers this round?
Edited by bradknowlesit hasn't acted, so go for the extra boost.
2 Triumph is a lot, you could do all sorts of things for that. With your Called Shot on the eyes i would be open to choosing an appropriate crit, of Hard level, Blinded or something similar. Or you could use them to frighten it off. Its got a soak of 4, so those 16 wounds put it right on the WT I gave it.
I’d be happy to have it scared off, instead of us being forced to kill it.
Likewise, I wouldn’t want it permanently blinded, but temporarily vision impaired would be fine.
Bip-Bip is going to have to clean out his pants. He’s never seen a croc that big before. ![]()
Hasnt done much diving on Naboo then!
ok so its Dazed and cant see, it turns and moves away from you.
Bip-Bip has seen bigger sea creatures, but there has always been a transparisteel barrier between them, and he hasn’t had to defend himself personally against beasts that big.
So this was a pretty big pants-filling moment for him.
Does EMC have to make a Vigilance check?
On a more serious note, how much time has passed since the attack on the camp? I wonder if it's time to conspire with Suppy regarding the immediate plan of actions.
Edited by ArctanaarGreat. So, we came into what we thought might be a good hidey-hole, except we discovered that a croc had found it first, and this was its den. We shoot the croc and drive it out of its home.
But now the room appears to be mostly empty, except some bones of various things that the croc had presumably eaten.
Where do we want to go next? Do we want to go back towards land and see if we can find the camp/prison/whatever of where the other Gungans, etc... were taken?
Maybe we can do a cut scene of the camp we left?
Bii will inspect the bones and such. Being a scout, he'll be curious about those sort of things.
would that be survival or perception?
I have been very RL busy, there should be more to the description.
There is an abandoned stash here, it looks to be decades old but the crates are in good condition. Lots of survival gear; tents, bedding, lighting, cooking equipment etc. there's some rations, a small field medical kit and some weapons too. Unfortunately most of the power supplies are drained. Lastly there is some kind of old communication device, it's a chunky box with an antenna, power switch and a couple of dials .
Inspecting the bones will be a Average Survival or Easy Xenology
Note that outside of certain crazy silly roleplay situations where it can be funny to see how much trouble he can get into, Bip-Bip is otherwise more of a follower than a leader.
So, he’ll be happy to help lead other Gungans here to pick up supplies and equipment that may be useful as we try to survive in the wild, but he’s not going to be able to tell what supplies or equipment might be useful, or how you would use most of them.
Sorry about the late response. I've been indisposed for the past 32 hours and today is looking to be more of the same.
Survival: 2eA+1eP+2eD 0 successes, 2 advantage

I'm not sure what to do with those advantages? I could recover strain but I would rather spend them on something a little more relevant.
Ok how about; you identify human and twi'lek remains, but nothing specific about them.
Then the Advantage can be used to identify the exact occupants of the chamber and their usual entry/exit points.
Ping?
I admit part of that is my fault. The best excuse I can give is stressful work. Although, some days I simply forgot.
I'll try and get something up tomorrow.
Can we get our tech/rebel guy mixed up with the others?
I have been super busy with work too, and having you all together would be much easier. Some kind of Rebel in charge giving you orders may make things a bit easier too. Perhaps settle into your base then go for a quick recon mission to pick up reinforcements?
I’m thinking we might need to go back to the base we had evacuated, and see if there was anything left behind?
Maybe there are some old droid parts, or other things that were missed or considered to not be valuable enough for the Imperials to take with them on the forced march back to their base? Or maybe some things got dropped along the way?
Would this be a good time to talk about whether we might need to flip a Destiny Point?

I'm having one of those bad GM "Head meet Desk" moments. Listening to O66 Ep 87... WHY DID I NOT USE MASS COMBAT FOR THE ATTACK ON THE CAMP!!!!
I had one idea in my head of get you to a safe place for a base. Then let you spend days to weeks of game time gathering resources, fighting guerrilla battles, then an all out attack and takeover. But just letting you be cool and do awesome stuff would have been so much better. Grr.
Sorry.
I need to get better at this PBP gming thing, it's such a different beast for me to RL gaming, I don't think I'm adapting with the story like I should. In future if you think I'm doing something stupid or wrong feel free to say so, I don't get offended easily.
Back to your question
Scouting is a very reasonable action to take, no DP required. Easy stealth check, 1 setback for the increase in patrols.
I'm curious who else is still playing. Whoever is left will need to converge soon.
