Bombad Bombardiers OOC

By Richardbuxton, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

ok, ill plan for that.

Could work with Suppy to contact the Alliance. That seems to be the best course of action.

Sure. It's still a few days before the transports arrive with the usual contact on board. Perhaps trying to slice into the Imperial communicators could work, or finding another way to get an urgent message out, perhaps sneaking a reprogrammed droid onto another civilian ship that's leaving.

Makes sense. Can I try to build a droid, then?

Sure. Your going to have to find some parts, what kind of droid are you wanting to build? Also are you wanting to set up some kinds of hidden workshop? Or just use the main workshop when it's empty for about 6 hours over night?

For now? The latter option seems sensible.

As for the droid, the feature I am aiming for is to be able to get the 'urgent message' across, assuming Suppy will provide the details that would be required for the droid to reach the destination. Some sort of mouse droid?

Ok that should be quite easy to find, make an Average Education check to know where to get the parts, failure indicates it's a long process.

I like the results of the roll.

Education Check: 2eA+2eP+2eD 3 successes, 1 Triumph

Obvious suggestions for the triumph: the droid can be disguised in a suitable way, or, perhaps, during the bombing run a number of droids was destroyed and there are plenty of parts for future works.

I like the plenty of parts idea. EMC finds a scrap bin full of all sorts of parts, it decreases the difficulty of future checks to find materials by 1 (for normal stuff obviously, not rare or restricted)

I'll try and get a post up tonight, but I got the group coming over for game day today.

If it makes any difference Bii will follow Bip. We really do need to bring the group together, regardless of which path we go.

So, EMC makes a mouse droid. I wish to spend 3 advantages to get it a Brain Implant and 1 advantage to get it the Indistinguishable talent.

Mechanics check (Monotask droid): 2eA+2eP+1eD 1 success, 4 advantage

Labour directive. I choose to spend advantages on the Loyal personality quirk. As for the skills, I think that Computers and Stealth could be fine and useful here.

Computers Check (Labour Directive programming): 2eA+2eP+1eD 3 successes, 2 advantage

Will make a post tomorrow.

I hope that the post is fine regardless of whether the parts were in a scrap bin before EMC organised a heap of bodies to cannibalise.

I'm very busy at the moment, posts will be a little sporadic for the next little while and I'm sorry for that.

My Dad is supposed to be getting out of the rehab facility soon, after his major surgery a couple of weeks ago. I’m likely to be pre-occupied with that, although I will try to check in here periodically.

Is the cavern just a single room?

Would it be prudent to make a perception check?

The hall is fairly large, there could be other rooms leading off, Perception would be a good place to start. Easy with a Setback.

Perception: 3eA+1eD+1eS 0 successes, 1 advantage

Darn. I knew I should have flipped a destiny point.

You spend 20 minutes swimming around the large chamber, there are a couple of small rooms off the side, and one hallway that slopes upward to another chamber. This smaller chamber is actually dry, the water stops short of the doorway and inside is dark.

Post an IC if you would like, give it a bit of flavour, but then let's have a vigilance check once you reach the dry room. Easy again, but 2 Setback this time, the room is quite dark.

This must be one of those instances where I was picturing something while everyone else was picturing something else.

I thought we were still under water.

You are. The stairs down, hallway at the bottom, giant chamber and all the small rooms attached are under water, flooded. The only dry room is at the end of this one upward sloping hallway. That single room is still under the sea floor, with the kelp above, but somehow it's dry.

Bip-Bip will follow:

Perception check in the vault under the kelp forest: 2eP+1eD+1eS 2 successes, 1 threat

However, I will wait to do my IC post until after kaosoe has done his.

I can wait. ;)

Lets have some Simple Vigilance checks
