So, using the name generator at http://fantasynamegenerators.com/sw-gungan-names.php, the best one I’ve come up with so far is “Bip-Bip Koown”.

I'll take Sik Lam.

Sounds like some kind of Thai soup! I love that generator.

Or maybe you guys need a Demolitionist, instead?

I mean, if you’re going to live up to the name Bombad Bombardiers, aren’t you going to need to have at least one person on the team who can actually be a Bombardier? ;)

That's what the Droid Sabotur is for ;)

Love the Medicine Man, great selection of gear it fits really well.

It's a tweak to an older concept I had, the "Ewok force user who isnt a crazed saber swinger", though that one was built around Knight Level. Same general idea- tribalistic shaman type with pets and drugs, though that one had enough XP to see through the eyes of rats for scouting, and had a baby Ruping for companion.

Speaking of companion, any thoughts? Something that eats frogs?

Was thinking something Raven-like. Looking over Savage Spirits, the Mantellian Flutterplume has everything except the somber appearance.

I don't mind a reskin of an existing creature to be something new, ie take the stat block and give it a different appearance.

Also keep in mind your an Amphibious creature and with an entire party able to breathe underwater there could be scenes underwater, possibly even the group base - discussed a little earlier in the thread. Not saying an amphibious companion is crucial, but you may benefit from it.

Well, looking at Stay on Target, the Kaadu would be a decent and thematic (for gungans) choice, but at FR2 I can only get a young one. A Ruping is much the same, but instead of being amphibius, it flies. A Young Gigantic Dragonsnake (dathomir entry, Nexus of power) is aquatic, but not amphibius.

Ah, here we go.

It's not listed as an ability, but the text describes the Dalyrake (Tralus/talus entry, Sons of Fortune)as amphibius arachnoids that are easilly trainable. Given this came out well before Stay on Target, I would think it would be safe to add the Amphibius and Domesticated abilities to it's statblock.

I'll grab my book and check them out, it could be good to RP you training it through the adventure. Considering your intention of being a powerful force user having a juvenile that grows up with you to become a mount is fine with me. But it's your creature so I'm happy to work with you on it. I'll get back to you after looking up the Dalyrake

Ok, I had a look. Happy to give it the Amphibious species ability, but not the Domesticated. My thought is that the "easy to domesticate" is referring to the low willpower which makes the training rolls easier. The low willpower will also lend itself to having a more docile or obedient creature

I should have read through this before starting my character. I, too, was making a Seeker, only in my case, an Executioner. I'll rework my concept and see where it goes.

(The framework of the Executioner can be seen here. No background posted yet, nor have I completed Force powers or skills, largely because I keep getting a server error when trying to save.)

So, you folks have me interested. I’ve got to work up a concept, though.

Does anyone here have any suggestions? Do you need any pilots or ranged weapons types?

Gungan gun-bun Gunslinger, from de' swamps o' Nal Hutta, fastest draw in 12 systems.

Like desserts, there should always be room in any party for an Executioner! My character has no ranged abilities of which to speak, so...

I was definitely thinking some sort of specialist. Maybe an Ace Pilot or Ace Pilot/Gunner, if you guys needed someone with those skills.

From what I can see, you’ve already got a specialist mechanic-type, so I was thinking someone who was really good at flying/driving/piloting stuff (either in atmosphere or in space), but not necessarily the brightest bulb in the bunch. Maybe a boost in Cunning, though.

But I’d be happy to go some other direction, if you folks feel that piloting is a skill that is either already sufficiently covered or not needed.

Given what I understand of the group assignment, I would think that a specialist with ranged weapons would be nice to have. And I’d be happy to fill that role — if someone else hasn’t already beaten me to it.

Or maybe I should just make a Darth Jar Jar type? ;)

I mean, given all the violent dark-side Force-sensitives it looks like we’re going to have?

Any of the Pilot/Gunnery/Heavy specialists would work well, there are characters that can be Co-Pilots and backups but none right now are heavily dedicated to that skill group, CP could change that, but see what the other Players think.

Alright. I may keep the Executioner. Doesn't matter quite yet, since I can't get SWSheets to save anything more yet. Still getting Server Error 500 when trying to save.

Hopefully the problem will be fixed soonish.

If you enter a check mark in a skill that is not on the sheet type your using (Knowledge Warfare but it's an EotE/FaD sheet, Lightsaber but it's an AoR/EotE sheet) then it will throw an error. Also with those same skills if you put ranks into them then change sheet type it will throw an error.

I'm not sure about the text boxes that change based on your sheet type but that may be an issue too.

You may need to start again and only use the FaD sheet, or swap through the three types looking for data that could be causing the problem.

Actually did you try making a very quick character as a test?

OMG bradknowles!

Okay, so I’m working on a Gunslinger.

Just to review, we’ve got 180xp and 3500 credits to spend, right? But per the “Knight” rules, only the initial ~100xp can be spent on attributes, and the rest have to be spent on talents and skills, right?

Just wanted to check and make sure.
