Nice.
Bombad Bombardiers OOC
I'd like to equip Subby with some improved communications relays, so we could send clear messages to the Rebellion. It won't expect it to be easy, tho (read: parts).
I'd like to upgrade the droid chassis into something that looks like it could be an underwater welder or miner, but that could also be used to defend itself if/when needed.
Lastly, anything that looks like I could even weld it to my body for aesthetic or functional game effects are likely to attract my eye.
What ill say is some of the gear you purchased from character creation is actually stuff your picking up now in the Workshop, perhaps the Tool Kit and the Multi goo gun. There is a few hundred credits worth of materials that could be used for modifying gear as well, although your going to be weighed down with all that, so ML-53 will have to carry some of it. to get the droid up and functioning quickly you will need to make a Mechanics check, Average with 2 setback for the time pressure, although EMC can help. DDSS
In time, perhaps after the riot has finished, you can work more on ML-53, He is strong and durable already, so adding heavy plates to his hands (ie brass knuckles) would be a good place to start. Making it more functional under water could be done by installing some integrated tool kits and possibly a fusion cutter. all things for later on, if you actually want to get tot he Gungan camp in time to help with the rioting.
Sorry for not being active during yesterday. Was seeking new apartments in another city. Have recovered a bit, and will try to post tomorrow.
Moppo will use his talents in Speaks Binary to direct one or more droids to assist him in to process of quickened repair. With those considerations, I rolled:

2eP+2eS+2eB+2eD1 failure, 2 advantage, 1 Triumph

Glad to hear it. Good luck with the apartment hunting!
Alright Moppo can tell quickly that this is going to take much longer than he anticipated, you can choose to hang around and get the job done or you can spend those advantage to know quick enough and leave the Load Lifter until later, just going with EMC and yourself.
For the triumph there are a couple of ideas I had, one could be that ML has already got one of the modifications installed that you where planning on making, the other idea I had was that there is an old worn out speeder bike in one of the store rooms, it could get you and EMC to the Gungans camp quickly.
OOoooh- I'll spend the advantages on the speeder bike for us to return. Before I leave, I'd like to tell the Load Lifter that we'll be back later tonight,
So, is the human gone?
And is there any surveillance that would make my conversation with Subby hazardous?

I actually have found them that day, but was exhausted for the remainder of the day and a large part of the next one.
Edited by ArctanaarHousehunting is horrible, glad i haven't done it for a while.
There is no surveillance in the Workshop, so feel free to talk with Subby. The Manager walks back out after a few minutes to go deal with the now removed Tales.
I apologize. I meant to post something IC, but I had a busy Sunday. I will try my best to put something up tomorrow.
With a failure (but some sweet advantages), I'll huff and puff at the failed repairs, but go with EMC back to the camp on our speeder bike...
Posted IC. I imagine there is a lot of misinformation and confusion among the crowd, so I portrayed that with the kid giving Bii some of the facts but some of them may be incorrect.
Bii's commanding presence will ignore one of those setbacks.
Rousing the crowd: 1eA+2eP+1eD+1eC+1eS 0 successes, 1 threat

Woops. That is too many blank sides. I'll let the GM play that out and go from there.
Edited by kaosoeI imagine that as a slightly less rousing speech than "we will not go quietly into the night!"
I think perhaps that the failure in this case was that it was too rousing! This situation is rather stressful, the next attempt anyone makes to calm them will suffer an additional Setback.
That's an opening for Moppo to arive, and Jek Jek to come up with a cunning idea to help you.
I'd like to see what Jek Jek does before I post. Bii trusts the old Gungan's experience.
Aaaand my PC screen stopped working today. I apologise in advance if I will not follow what is happening for a couple of days.
How frequently should we be posting?
I understand and sympathize with real-world distractions, especially as I anticipate knee surgery in the near future.
Would recruitment help bolster our party, since we have lost some players? Would having more players compensate for missed time as we attend to real-life in between PBP? If we did recruit more players, how many Gungans would we want? Should we encourage any specific careers or styes of play (i.e.: we need more Gungan combatants/healers/Force-users/etc.?
Again, I cannot fault anyone for having real-world issues. I just hope for more frequent posts.
Edited by cimmerianthiefI can post multiple times a day, but I try to avoid pushing the story forward without everyone having a chance to contribute. I'm happy to worry less about that if you would all prefer, just keeping the story moving with whoever is available at the time.
More players would be fine with me, probably no more than 6 total since those times where everyone is available can get hard to manage with more than that. I'm open to any careers, there really isn't an expert at close combat in the group or a high Willpower character. The charm/negotiate side of social may not have an expert, but considering every Gungan has a 3 Presence your all quite good.
I do really enjoy the premise of this campaign, I'm looking forward to getting properly into the espionage side of things, but it's my fault we are not there yet. I had thought originally that "a couple of quick encounters to set the tone would be good" but they took ages, I should have just started in the middle of the action.
No problem. I have been helping my local gaming shop with talking about the game and with other gamers in the store. At home, I've shared some of these exploits from the shop here on the message boards. I literally bought-into the game this summer, and have bought different products to further my gaming knowledge and experience.
My enthusiasm prompts me to check the message boards frequently so I don't miss anything. I also didn't want to post too much and deny others the chance to post, too.
Might a brief recap of the story, existing characters and careers, and open call to others with a specific needs-be list of careers, skills, talents, Force powers, etc. add to the group? I'm interested to know how this is done, in case I ever plan to GM my own campaign in the far, far future.
Honestly I haven't even tried recruiting mid game, all the PBP games I have been in where from he start, usually with only the occasional "by chance" additions.
Sure, I think that's an Average check, but 2 setback for the foul mood he is in
Can I have a gear item from my stash, for boost on charm? We referenced we might come through there, but we did not play it out, otherwise I will spend a destiny point for it.

Well, as you can see I'm an irregular... but I have a nostalgic passion for play by post, so as long as we keep playing whenever and our benevolent Galaxy Master keep responding, I'm good ![]()

Sure you can have picked it up.
What did I miss in my time gone. (I really forgot about the AoR forums, as it wasn't on my "Frequently visited" list.
