Those large jaws and long eel like tail reminds you of the Colo from home. This appears similar in size at roughly 40m, but the colour is much different, and those signature claws of the Colo are much smaller. Even with those differences this seems to be a related species and therefore the threat it poses to the entire crew is significant... Caution would be advised.
Bombad Bombardiers OOC
Athletics seems appropriate, Easy check again, but Upgraded twice for the hysterical thrashing of the human and the real risk of falling in.
As a outsider, I want to say 'thanks' for sharing your adventures on the forums! Great window into the game and others' reactions, rolls, etc.
Welcome to join us!
Thanks! After corresponding with the GM, I'll be joining later this week.
Rather, "Moppo Wupps" - the sad yet talented crafter - will join as a Bombad Gungan CyberTech! Copied from my private message...
My initial thoughts were to have a Gungan CyberTech who would make good use of the workshop opportunities. Imported to the mining colony (thus explaining why he hasn't adventured with the party until now), his arrival underscores how illness, injury, laziness, or sickness detracts from work productivity. Offering a unique bend of homeopathic cybernetics per Gungan technology levels (i.e.: there 'wood' be natural elements fused with cold steel), he functions as a computer specialist (keeping cybernetic journal entries) and cybernetic doctor. Traditional doctors use substandard tools to repair already dying and weakened flesh; look to Lord Vader as the shining example of technological triumph within the harsh Galactic Empire. As my Gungan begins to build up his transplanted people, his compassion grows beyond merely putting Gungans back together or back to work. His bedside manner (Presence) makes him an easy mark for Rebel sympathizers and recruitment.
Edited by cimmerianthiefAnything you want to do, you have a couple of rare free hours.
I'll wait for Jek Jek's response.
I think we can fade to black, wrap it up as "...and it was awkward for everyone" ![]()
I guess we strengthen our bond with this two and move on, if the hummies are satisfied with their adventure...
If its acceptable, I want to secretly charm/coerce Moraq for dropping us at a different location for saving their lives, maybe the Processing Plant aforementioned.
Edited by RusakRakeshSure, I think that's an Average check, but 2 setback for the foul mood he is in
I am sorry to butt in. I just want to remind that it has been a long time since a part of the party acted. Will both parts of the group join soon?
Cool but I hate the gungan race

It's a good thing that there's no race called Gungan, nor is there a Gungan race.

I'm very sorry to have not taken things back to you recently. Absolutely you can join up, in fact I think the others are on their way to the Plant right now.
What has EMC been up too? Was he helping to discover and then communicate with the concealed Droid Brain in the Load Lifting Droid? Or is there something else he has been doing in the workshop/plant, perhaps getting up to mischief?
I'll finish my character in the next 24 hours (am without a power charging cord for my laptop, so relegated to using the family desktop when not in studious-or-work related use), especially since I have a few doctor appointments in real life (read: death-by-waiting).
I think the recent mess encountered in the last fishing trip may allow a CyberTech to be inserted with little hassle, especially since a prominent Imperial NPC has an interesting hand. If that's a good jump-in point, I will take it or adjust to however you could use the cyberdoc.

Jek Jek old... Jek Jek needs new arms and legs and eyes... ;P
Introducing Moppo Wupps!

You do know that now you have a Cyberneticist it just gives me license to go hardcore on criting you? mwahahaha!
So you guys kind of need to give some direction to me, what are you looking to achieve; recruit more Gungans? find soft targets to disrupt? start assassinating the Humans? i can keep throwing scene after scene of Humans hating on Gungans at you, but at some point the fire in your bellies has to become an inferno!
The fire is already ignited for my character. Non-Gungan specific medicines are weak, not helping my people, and the large factory holds the key for more cybernetics. As for my character, unlocking the industrial capacity of whatever may lie in the processing plant is the key to enhancing, and literally empowering the Gungans' fate on this rock.
I'd like to have my character push the envelope for more cybernetic treatments, perhaps even offering those services to the Imperials for a boon and possible pass on the Gungan-hate. I have little problem with outfitting my fellow species with more tech, to empower them to rebel or work harder, however they dictate their destiny.
I'll be away from keyboard (and internet) until tomorrow afternoon- I'll visit my parents with the kids in tow. I'll input my final character sheet tomorrow! ![]()
Sorry, was rather busy. I think that EMC would prefer to examine the robot's second control unit that was discovered, although I don't have any specifics. As far as I remember, the narrative left the scene on the question GMRen's character asked to it.
Whatever happens next, we need to pull the party together.
I think the colony needs a martyr.
"I guess I am, what is your designation?" Tele asks.
(Bii could definitely carry a knife in the water, that sounds very in character to me)
To Teles in the workshop the secretive droid brain responds "SUB-3, I don't get out much any more as you can imagine, but in a past position my owner called me 'Subby'. Now kindly explain what you want of me now that you have broken into my home?"
I'm supposed to keep all the droids here working. But why are you here Subby?
The droid is quick to respond "Here, I'm not here, you never saw me, and if you know whats good for you then you will remember that. Got it?"
(I think a social check may help you here, Charm or Negotiation, Difficulty of Average, you may add a boost for the compromised position you have this droid in)
"You aren't really in a position to threaten me. As I could very, very easily unplug you or the droid causing a shutdown. And then I'll get to see everything, not just the stuff I ask about. Or you can ansewr my questions, your choice." Teles responds calmly. (OOC: roll incoming @ around 1 PM)
But GMRen never made that roll, so i'm happy to pick it up from there if you would like, your free to suggest any method you would like for communicating with the Subby, social, mechanics, computers.
When you say martyr kaosoe what did you have in mind? finding an individual for the job or kicking up a stink yourself?
I mostly mean a respected Gungan whose memory the rest of the PCs could rally behind and overthrow the status quo.
A beloved (or fabricated) NPC should burn so the party can unite and seek revenge.
Sounds good, i can line that up ![]()
When all else fails, Moppo isn't adverse to play Dr. Frankenstein for any needed mooks.
I look at the snotty Subby as spare parts at this time... ![]()
Maybe GMRen's roll should be resolved using his character's stats? EMC would then join in the interrogation if Teles' efforts would be insufficient.
