Prow Thrusters - You may thrust with your prow.
is there any other way to use your prow?

In comparison to the Defender box the last fixes for Rebels were a little bit weak I have to say and would appreciate another buff for theses small ships.
Take a look to munition failsafe that is obsolete atm, maybe we see here another one with IA? But I can't imagine that FFG put into IA and another modification for the same ship and the same slot in terms of buffing an old ship.
Perhaps but I still think that X-Wings were meant to fly with Astromechs so an easy fix it T-65 X-Wing -1 point of Astromech.
If you chose to not take an Astromech, no problem but then you're limiting yourself.
Maybe Prime Thrusters or
Primary
Thrusters
Also any ideas on the card in the top row that starts with unique M looks like a bot.
If the T-70 can take it as well, then it is NOT the T-65 Fix
insert Jek.gif that is too offensive to show

Wedges Mynock?
I'd prefer to see a 0 point Astromech.

(That was awefully suggestive...ew)

Could be a Mod that gives a backward boost action.
I said before that I would like to see a negative cost of 1 point on the T-65 so you can fly 5 rookies, doubt this will do that if there's just one card.
I don't get why people categorise ships by how many you can spam. What is it with people and spam?
I'm hoping the Snap Shot card is an EPT or Modification that is something that others and I have mentioned and lets you reduce your attack to 2 dice and fire either an extra shot, or make the enemy give up an evade token or something. and that its Xwing only.
Just face it, the only way the T-65 is getting fixed is with a Title card. With the window basically more or less closed on a T-65 "reprint" in the next 2 expansions .. you're not going to see it for a long time.

Is the cards shown confirmed in quantity somewhere besides the pic? After all the first pic for the Mist Hunter showed 2 tractor beams, but then only had one. The reverse could be possible then and if this card is a fix maybe there will be a second in the pack

No, this isn't confirmed in any other way than that release pic, and as the Mist Hunter demonstrated, things can and do change between the announcement and the release.
The announcement pics are usually reliable, but not always.
My guess is that proton thrusters will use the torp slot. While thematically I love torps on the X-wing, it just isn't played that way. This way you are not competing for the coveted Mod slot. It likely won't be a tech slot because we want it usable on all X-wings. A title is possible but this pack already has that with Black One, I think.
Besides, where do you shoot protons from? The torp tube of course.
rather than a title use the little used torpedo slot on an x wing.
prow thrusters? - reverse thrust ? - allows you to slow the speed of your movement by 1-2 but take a stress cost?
proton thrusters? - takes up a torpedo slot, - gives barrel roll or flip 180 degrees cost?
exibit B
after a google, heres a cutaway of the torps in a t-65, in the prow. they are most likley prow thrusters based on the wording on the card, unlikey to be a modification given integrated astromech etc, would imo, replace the torpedo slot. - the torpedoes being removed to add little manuvering jets.
if the t-65 gets the above in whatever form that takes in terms of actions, eventually gets a title that slightly reduces its cost in a rebel veterans/rogue pack, then we should be declaring the t-65 "fixed".
it will then have gotten a similar kind of love as the A-wing.

Ships have prows.
Aircraft (and by extension small spacecraft in Star Wars) do not - they have noses. FFG could abuse the term but I don't think they will. So it's likely to be the other name candidates, Primed / Primary / Proton Thrusters. Etc.
Ironically the red-pink glow of X-Wing engines is a dead match for ionised deuterium (as opposed to ionised hydrogen, ie protons).

spaceships?
and it might be prionised thrudeuteriumers ![]()
it could be that afterburner effect of a proton thruster and you have me thinking that it might be primer thruster like you said, a pre dial movement option maybe?
Edited by johnboyireLets think about this logically, what does everyone moan about the T-65? Its the inability to readjust after moving right? (however this is generally for aces). So what works:
Pr*** Thrusters: Torp Slot
Version 1: Before you reveal your dial, you may perform a free boost action.
(Useful for Wedge, Luke and Wes, not so much for everyone else.)
Version 2: Your action bar gains the boost action
(Nice but again, doesn't address the issues with the generics and eats into action economy)
Version 3: Your action bar gains the SLAM action.
(Helpful for both I guess?)
Version 4: Reduce your ships cost by -2. After you have completed a move, if you did not collide with a ship or obstacle, you may perform a free boost action
Version 5: You may discard this card to perform a white STOP move. Then receive a stress token.
Version 6: Before you reveal your dial, you may discard this card to perform a free boost action using the rear guides of your ships.
(Attack Wing Terrorists now!)

If Prow Thrusters is indeed the name, it'll probably be a sort of reverse thrust (as the OP suggests), either reducing speed, allowing a full stop, or even moving backwards while keeping the same facing - all with a stress cost, or possibly a cost to hull.

These options are only if you are playing with the Top Gun version of X-Wing which includes the unique pilot "Maverick"...
...because we were inverted...
Considering that there is a SLAM token in this set. I bet this card gives SLAM.
Let see.......Autothrusters are for ships with boost could Prow Thrusters be for ships without boost?
modification
When defending, if you are beyond range 2, you may change 1 of your blank results to a evade result.
Lots of complaints about how strong TLTs are could this be the counter for non boost ships?
