I know the stele open had some custom medals/coins, and of course there's the ffg official coins. anyone else made custom prizes for their own tournaments ?

Here our tournaments are basically between 5 and 8 people with a bottle of whisky all playing on the same mat with whatever ships I hand out.

I have been working on a few designs for a challenge coin to pass out and use to spin for initiative ties and so forth.

I've been though a few different sculpts and several different production methods. But, for our group. ... We prefer a certain simplicity in design and a no frills approach to messaging with each other.

For our tournaments, this is the design we have come to a reasonable consensus with as far as artistic quality and prize value.

I can't be certain if the coin is something other groups would enjoy but for us...when the drinks are flowing...the pizza is falling on the ground...the lasers are in full PEWPEWPEW. and the friendly togetherness is at maximum.... We like these ones.

I would be interested to see what other groups may have collaborated on as far as local prize support goes. Or maybe there's just a special someone who likes to make things and has ideas for prizes.

I know it's not the greatest prize ever but I find that there is an elegance in simplicity.
