Upsilon-class Shuttle- Kylo Ren, General Hux/Captain Phasma, 2 Generics. Kylo, Hux, Phasma crew. Hopefully better dial than its predecessor.

TIE s/f- Turret/Crew slots. Maybe less maneuverable than the /fo (3 speed sloops?) but more armored (+1/2 shield).

Stand-alone SF would be preferable. Don't need another giant expansion just to get another small-base ship.

Haven't you heard? Only the Rebels can have cool stuff. It won't be long now and Imperial ships will start coming with Rebel Only upgrades.

ABSOLUTELY... and I am all for it too! This IS the next small boxed expansion set!

Stand-alone SF would be preferable. Don't need another giant expansion just to get another small-base ship.

I'd bet on both a stand-alone and a two-ship set, same as the T-70. More general upgrade cards in the set, while the stand-alone has better lower PS uniques and maybe a TIE s/f specific Tech upgrade.

I suspect it will happen, based on it being one of only like... 6 x-wing appropriate ships in TFA 3 of which have already been announced or released - f/o, s/f, falcon, b-wing shuttle thing, upsilon, t70. Maybe Quadjumper?

Judging from the film, it does look very big, but it and the TIE/sf are really the only options left for those who want equality between the Resistance and the First Order.

It would definitely be a "wings folded up in play" model, though. And maybe even a candidate for the Ghost's flying stand.

thinking about it, though not entirely necessary from a gameplay perspective, FFG would do well to do a "Heroes" of the First Order box

if we're looking at EP 7 onward as fertile untapped ground for new players, the FO sub-faction (such as it is) is kinda boned against these Heroes, specifically

Black One **** with poor Omega Leader

Poe and Rey both give no ***** about the FO's juke tech

as a whole, the Imperials really have little to be worried about, but if we're just thinking about new players coming in from Ep 7/8 the poor FO enthusiasts may be in for a rude awakening (get it?)

There is no point in putting these ships in an Aces/Veterans/Heroes box. THEY HAVE NO PILOTS YET. You won't see an aces box for First-Order stuff until the new canon comics, novels or video games give us the next generation's versions of Fel, Vessery, and Howlrunner.

It does seem HIGHLY likely that they will both be in wave 9, though I shudder to think what the pilot options are for these guys at present.
