Timing Kanan Jarrus + New MF Title

By Farlander, in X-Wing

So, could a tricky, yet stressed Falcon player execute a white 3-speed bank maneuver, trigger Kanan and destress and then rotate 180 degree? Sounds pretty powerful to me.

I played Han with PtL, Kanan & Kyle and that build was already pretty maneuverable - with the new title it becomes even more maneuverable.

It certainly seems so... The reverse would also work, and perhaps be even more powerful-

Perform 3 bank

Activate Title to turn around-- take stress

Activate Kanan to remove stress

They both activate "after ____ executes a white maneuver," so you're able to choose the activation sequence. If you're stressed, do Kanan first then flip but stay stressed. If you aren't stressed, flip first then do Kanan to stay stress free. Essentially, the Falcon now has a white 3 Segnor's.

you should be able to determine the order in which the abilities activate, since they trigger on the same condition

of course, you'll never ever use it because Kanan costs the same as and is eating the same slot as c3po

eat your heart out dengar

C-3P0 and Kanan may be a solid paring.

I think the real issue is this title taking the same slot as the Evade title.

... But I'll actually try a Kanan Falcon, where I've never even looked twice at a fat one...

Gunner is an easy drop.

Honestly the fat falcon is not nearly as strong anymore because of ordnance and tlt. I don't know that the standard 3p0 gunner build is really that good anymore unless it manages to avoid bad matchup. Additionally it's pretty clear they are moving turrets towards caring about arc (dengar, uboats, rey) so I don't anticipate that build getting much love with the new pack.

no falcon is strong anymore. Fat falcon was, by far, it's most viable set-up but even it can't stand up to new upgrades. Taking away its most potent durability (c3po) is, rather predictably, not going to help against enemy tech that can rip through goldenrod in the first place

apart from that, though, Rey's ability stacks up pretty well with gunner (consistent modifiers for both potential shots). C3po will never not be auto-include on a one agility ship, there is simply no way to get that much value. Blame the designers

Hell, Rey synergizes with c3po a lot too! Her re-rolls can be defensive, which can get you two evades between it and c3po

with what little has been revealed, that build's getting quite a bit of love as is

gunner is just about your only method of hitting action efficient aces, barring incredibly stupid luck
