That's... Interesting? Still think players will elect to go for PS 8 Poe with Adaptability unless they really want to get something in that EPT slot, which Poe is one of those rare cases where he doesn't really need it to be effective.

Rey Pilot. Rey Crew. Finn Crew. PS 9 Poe. Snap, Jess, and Nien Nunb. I am in. So, so in.

Lots of goodies there:

- New Falcon title is basically a limited Lightning Reflexes that lets you pull off an S-Loop.

- What looks like a new YT-1300 mod (Smuggling Compartment?) that gives you an Illicit slot, along with some new Illicits, and may let you take another modification?

- PS9 Poe (albeit at +2 points for +1 pilot skill).

- T-70 title that gives you Expert Handling.

- Pilot Rey basically has Lone Wolf within her arc.

Why give rebels a different version of the Falcon before giving us a scum version of it?

I like that they made Poe PS 9. I guess that's one way to make sure and sell Heroes of the Resistance. Two Integrated Astromechs will help too.

Ok so... With Rey's ability and C3P0 crew and old MF title... Can she... Can she get 3 EVADES in a round? 1 from title, 1 from C3P0 on a blank roll, 1 from a reroll?????

That said, paying 2 points for a 1 PS bump? Probably just stick with the PS8 version, though PS9 does free you up a bit from relying on VI in certain builds, and is definitely more fluffy. The Black One title, the only upgrade that's readable in the spread is...interesting? If Vessery becomes a big deal I can see it being more useful, if you're flying Poe or some other T-70 with BB-8, but it seems very situational. New Falcon title is interesting, Rey's pilot ability encouraging in-arc shooting is a nice change for the YT.

Because people were complaining about the lack of a PS9 Poe, especially after seeing him in action.

Think of it as the difference between him flying some other T-70, and him flying Black One. Yeah, he's a good pilot in any other ship. But behind the controls of the ship he knows inside and out, he's a wizard.

It looks like the new Illicit gives you the SLAAM action, and then you discard it. Should be fun in Scum. YOU CAN'T STOP THE SLAAMING HWK!!!

Wait.... so if we can have duplicates of pilot cards even on the same ship now... That means we can potentially get NEW versions of our old favorites!

I'm assuming it'll be better than Outer Rim Smuggler to get people to finally quit beating that dead horse.

It's 100% illicit slam, note the weapons disabled token. Emon is pleased.

Oh and to everyone hoping for more T-65 fixes... all these new T-70 pilots, upgrades, and title are like... pushing the T-65 even FURTHER out of the spectrum.

I would agree that it seems wonky to have a second Poe card, but I actually like it. Want naked PS 9? Go adaptability. Want a fancy ability with it - well, thats going to cost you. Makes building Poe a lot more interesting.

Rey finally looks like a fun Falcon Pilot. FFG finally corrects the mistakes they made with the Falcon by revisiting it with the knowledge from the Outrider and JM5K expansions.

I also love how they stepped up the game with the remodels and even gave Poe BB-8. The Black Leader title with PTL + BB-8 is going to be quite strong against non U-Boat ordnance carriers.

What this expansion demonstrates, though, is that it hurt the flavour aspect of the initial TFA releases that they were done so early. This is a lot better. It still was a good move to increase popularity, but I wish it could have been handeled differently.
