Hi guys

Took the below to a spring kit this weekend and went 4-0 in Swiss, had the bye, then dash/ghost followed by two imperial aces lists, lost in the cut to the dash/ghost player

My concern is that if I had've played one of several triple Jumpmasters I would've had a really hard time - they are very big in the current local meta

Any ideas/suggestions - keep the list, change it? Fly better?

Push The Limit (3), K4 Security Droid (3), Unhinged Astromech (1), Punishing One (12), Engine Upgrade (4)

Bossk (44) - YV-666

Adaptability (0), "Mangler" Cannon (4), Zuckuss (1), 4-LOM (1), K4 Security Droid (3)

The only thing I would really look at is the Mangler Cannon and Adaptability on Bossk. He has a three dice attack anyway, so it slightly increases your chance of a crit and denies the range three bonus in half of his arc. Is that worth 4 points? Some people definitely think so, but it might be worth trying something else. If you have those spare points, is PS8 that important on Bossk? That would give you some options.

Engine upgrade is nice for 4, you could keep adaptability. But if you are using Zuckuss a lot, you might not get actions and just rely on the K4 target locks. If Dengar consistantly strips tokens, you could try something crazy like Opportunist (but run into the Zuckuss problem again).

You could just go VI and a two point initiative bid. You could go calculation.

There are a few things to try there, and it is worth small tweak experimenting. Would engine upgrade get you a block on the Jumpmasters in your opening? Is that worth 4 points?

I tried a game last night on Vassal against a Bossk / Dengar list with Mindlink. I had a Ghost / Shuttle and 2 A-wings. They both had K4, and Mindlink was a pain because I couldn't usually block both ships. I just quickly got behind Bossk and was able to jam Dengar up to get him.

The takeaway that he took from the game was that a Hot Shot Blaster might be a nice thing when someone comes sneaking up behind Bossk. Otherwise, again the Engine Upgrade can be very useful on Bossk.
