There are SO many Adventure Cards now...

Would you ever consider taking out cards from certain expansions? For example, say you wanted a more Firelands flavor in your game. So, you would remove Adventure Cards from Blood Moon, Reaper, and Frostmarch.

The reason I ask is I love the Firelands Expansion. However, in this current game, I have not had many Firelands Adventure Cards turn up. I only have one Firelands Token on the Board. Hmm...

I remove some of the more annoying time waster cards, but nothing from particular expansions.

I play with ALL OF THEM...

When we get a new expansion with tons of adventure cards, for the first game with the expansion, I usually take a pile with about 50-70 cards we already had and shuffle them together with all the new cards.

However, for all other games we play, every adventure card is in. My group is all about variety and the various cards interactions you can discover.

Makes every game so different, yet fun and adventurous. This truly is a great game.

I have all the cards on even rotation, by seperating into piles of about 100 and storing them in a systematic way you can garentee new cards ever game, although when you know one of your favourites has gone by you know you wont see it again for several games to come, can be a bit of a dsappointment at times.

We use all cards each time (reshuffled). The only exception are the adventure cards, which are not shuffled each game, but we rather put a marker between the cards, and discard pile (in same box) .. which gives us the possibility to play them all over time (they are so many, there would be cards we never see otherwise) .. when the playable adventure cards are too few for a new game, we shuffle them all, and start over with a newly moxed pile.

I remove some of the more annoying time waster cards, but nothing from particular expansions.

Same here, removed cards like

- maze and swamp, darkness and other turn takers

- cards that duplicate existing spaces (unncessary)

- annoying and useless cards (ekor)

- copies of purchase deck cards

- some copies of cards from other decks

- some cards that have too many copies (gold, rune gates)

You have to take Cards out or you don't get the feel for the new expansion as it's meant to be played. I take out the main or reaper expansion for starters than leave in the 4 corner adventure cards, than add the new expansion. If you take out the reaper and use only the base, 4 corners, firelands, and cataclysm you'll have a cool experience

I just use everything. :)
