The game doesn't hold up all that well today. I played it about a year ago and could not get over how clunky the controls were. I don't know how I beat the **** game when I was 13.

Different times... I can say that about a lot of old games.

Wing commander and Freespace come to mind.

I do love the Hoth mission (of course Rogue Squadron did it better) and the final mission. Just the ground controls and combat are very clunky. That **** Swoop mission... I remember the rage quitting during that.

I remember the original dune games where you had to move units one at a time.

Older games were limited by alot of things.
