Yeah, still not sure if they're good or not (though apparently a Vader-Ugnaught list won a tournament somewhere?) but extra attacks certainly makes them more viable.
List fine tuning.
I lost to that list in the 1st round of elimination after beating it in the swiss. ![]()
Thinking of a change now. Do I keep the same list for Nationals or try the following.
Agent Blaise
ISB Infiltrator
The Grand Inquisitor
Elite Imperial Officer (Thinking extra attack with Inquisitor mainly)
Zillo Technique
Temporary Alliance
HK Assassin Droid (Love the white dice reroll)
then either
Probe Droid or
Imperial Officer + Targeting Computer for 2 rerolls with the HK's
2 x leaders, 2 x spy, 2 x Hunter, 1 x Force User, 1 x Droid, then either another droid or leader so a nice selection of Command Cards available to complement the figures.
Edited by TryerImpAre you ever going to keep the elite officer close enough to the inquisitor? He's a speed 5 melee character.
Don't forget it's only an extra basic attack not an extra lightsaber throw.
That officer is probably going to die quickly if he's that close to the action. He's just too juicy of a target.
It's certainly possible but I find the eOfficers work better with AT-STs and tanks where they can safely hide behind them and shoot freely at long range.
Everything else is personal taste really.
I don't rate the regular ISBs or probe droid much. Just not enough oomph and the probe is too slow. I know the ISBs are there for the spy trait and they are the cheapest way to get it, but at what cost?
I'm very partial to troopers so I'm probably biased but I'd look to squeeze in elite stormies with cross training instead of the officer and ISBs. Then you'll still have 3 points for an regular officer or Ug or two officers if you drop zillo.
Command deck could be messy though if you're trying to fit in spy, force and trooper cards.
My mistake. The ISB are Elite ones
Elite officer is not a bad thing for getting extra HK attacks.
I keep seeing agent Blaise pop up but I've never really considered him because it's just such a crap model. Are people running him for his support abilities or just as a cheap activation/shot?
I'm a fan of HKs in scum but do you reckon it's worth the extra points for imps? You could just run a couple of heavy storm troopers for similar effect, or just elite storm troopers?
When I've run blaise it's been for hide and interrogate, very useful
Side note:
These are the top 3 lists for the recent Tulsa Regionals
2nd - JD:
Bantha Rider
HK Assassin Droid
eTusken Raider
Nexu
Hired Guns
3p0
Gideon
Beast Tamer
Devious Scheme
Temp alliance
So there you go..... it probably just comes down to strategy on the table and some luck with the dice.
I like this list the most, has the best theme IMO.
What are people's thoughts on good cards for this list?
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like you get 2 or more points of value from C-3PO even if he only informs once, so at worst you break even.
Focus is huge in this game and I'm unable to start any Rebel or Scum squad without Gideon and C-3PO. I'd try out the 4 transdoshans with Bossk list, but that's because it doesn't need focus when you're spamming strain so hard.

Cards = suit to taste
Single Purpose
Rally
Element ofSuprise
Jundland Terror x2
Ferocity
Planning
close the gap
Crush (great if you can get it, or a waste of points after the bantha dies)
Marksman
Opportunistic
Fleetfooted
Camoflauge
Field Tactician
Take Initiative
Negation
tough luck

A friend runs HK's in an Imperial squad with General Sorin and the attachment that extends his ability from adjacency out to 3 spaces away.
Friendly droids and vehicles can use his surge abilities, and one of his surge abilities is surge to focus. This makes those HK's hit super hard and gives them even more long range capacity. He just sat firing at the dianoga and everything was focused, it was nuts.
