And here we are, 1 month before the biggest battle X-wing has ever seen! (400+ players)

So who's coming? Have you made preparations? I'm assuming there will be a lot of International players, since the number seems incredibly large even for a big community, as the UK clearly is.

I've bought plane tickets so far, but we're 3 guys, 2 of which are +1 and I would be a third wheel when looking for accomodation. Is anyone in a similar situation? I'm looking for a potential X-wing player to share a room for the 2nd-4th of June. I promise I don't talk about X-wing in my sleep... too much.

My preparations so far have been deciding that I'm not happy with either my current Rebel or Scum list and so I've decided to commit to learn an Imperial Aces list of some kind and so have approximately 5 weeks and a handful of games to learn how use that list and Imperials in general which I've barely used at all in my time playing the game.

Don't get me started on lists... most of my competitive play goes online, so I've been playing Imperial Veterans lists for several months now and I'm worried that it won't release on time.

The Yavin Open in Birmingham UK. 4th and 5th June.

I for one hope vet doesn't release in time - I'm planning on running an A-wing crackswarm and I have a bad feeling about their chances against double or triple defender lists!

And yeah, I'm DEAD excited about Yavin! Looks like there'll be around 430 players there, sounds like it's going to be something else!

I was on the fence about going, but as things have shaken out I'm pretty certain I'm going to be there. Which gives me exactly a month to come up with a list that can handle Triple Scouts, Palp Aces and Crackswarm because judging by the Regional I was at yesterday those are The Lists.

I really hope imp vets is out to dhake things up a bit, after the weekends regional im now much less excited. The thought of facing triple jumps after triple jumps for two days is depressing!
