The guardian has an article up about an annotated map given to Pauline Baynes (illustrator) by Tolkien, Not in depth but an OK couple of minutes read. Just wish the map could be scaled up a bit more to read the annotations. (and I mean a proper zoom, not the click enlarge)
HOWEVER :-) (tongue in cheek) FFG may have to recall ALL The flight of the Stormcaller packs. Read on and you will find a paragraph about what ships in middle earth look like. Unfortunately the Stormcaller doesn't have the proper sails.
Therefore the packs must be recalled and everyone involved flogged in the town square for the entertainment of Tolkien geeks everywhere as this constitutes a crime covered under the "adding wings to Balrogs" statute :-)
