In a moment of sheer jest I want all fleet commanders to know you are all welcome. Long time members will recall I had posed the question as to when the Goxanti and the Transports would be on station. Shortly after my post voila! We have the Goxantis and Transports! Yeehaw! You're welcome. Now. We need Lambs and the Ghost. . .
Flotillas. . . You are welcome!
And before we all rage with Raging Celt. . . let me remind all demand for adulation and hero worship is pure silliness. The Ghost and Lamb? Nuh uh. That we want!
I remember posting photos of transports and freighters on the wish list of what do you want to see in wave 3 back in December

I also remeber a Wave 3 prediction thread where I called Rebel Transports and Gozanti Cruisers but I had no idea that would be the entire wave.
I at least expected TIE Defenders, Lambda Shuttles, E-wings, Z-95, and the TIE Phantom.

In all honesty these ships are natural choices. I am thrilled to see them coming on station.

With the upcoming release of Wave III expansions for Star Wars™: Armada, the Empire can call upon the many tactical strengths of its flotillas of Gozanti-class cruisers.
As we noted in the announcement of Armada Wave III, the flotilla from the Imperial Assault Carriers Expansion Pack enters the game as a new type of small-base ship that features two miniatures and uses all the standard ship rules with an exception for the way that they function in collisions. More importantly, we addressed the fact that your flotilla of Imperial Gozanti-class cruisers features the new Fleet Support upgrade icon, which allows it to perform any number of different roles in your fleet.
The release of this product was prompted by a request on the Fantasy Flight forum by a popular poster called Raging Celt, and though we looked at a couple of the different implications in the announcement article, we've only just begun to scratch the surface.
I approve.
(Thanks for a laugh! This is great! Is there a thumbs up emoticon?)

Those look prepainted to me. . . I think WWPDSteven and Easy might just lose their bets. . .
I approve.

Stick with me kid. We'll go places!

Yep, you now have a ship that can ram a ISD and MC80 for less than 20 points....awesome.
You sure can ram an ISD or an MC80 for (presumably) 20-ish points! And take all that damage while they don't even blink. 'Cause Flotillas don't cause damage that way, except to other flotillas. It is still a good blocker (in theory) of course.
Aaaah Raging Celt, revel in the fame! Thou deserveth it! I, on the other hand, have a 0 in 3 track record at predictions in Armada! Whatever I say, they do the opposite. Usually within the week too, just for that extra bit of jabbiness.
And they wonder why interests and sales are collapsing worldwide for Armada. Only the Fanboys are unaware. The guys and gals at home with their slashes who make up most of Armada's sales--sorry people it isn't the people visiting the forums here who spend the most money on Armada--that has their collectiion gathering dust due to lack of clarity regarding the future of Armada have figured this out already though. Most were waiting on friends to buy in, but have witnessed them turn away from Armada realizing that FF is not worth gambling on. The research I've conducted show conclusively that FF's caggy ways have finally backfired. Wasn't rocket science to the non-fan boy. Retailers have en mass revolted against the shelf space that Armada takes up for the meager returns leading to a positive feedback loop which will soon in some areas, and has already in many areas, led them to pull support for the game which will ultimately hurt the fan boys. Of course, they with hold the flag long past the point where the last person has lost faith calling for ramming spread with their flotillas on the ISD. They will go down with the ship.
I haven't a clue if they are like that or not, but mind toning it down to jut a few cutting sentences (maybe with a really good pun or play on words?) As it stands any message you have is sort of sounding like those people that talk about 'the Great Evil' that is fluoride in their water.
Yes, the point is the block. Soon you will see what a terrible little, year a half long SKU this will turn out to be. It is a trap...a tractor beam, a funnel that also adds a little bit of support before it dies fulfilling that role of holding an enemy in place for the kill shots. It will jam things right into double tap close range. Clap, clap, clap.

You keep mentioning "the research I've conducted show conclusively..." May I ask what this research is?

And they look really pretty too! See, all things are right with the world. Except where they aren't.
Okay, that's a bit of a lie. The Gozanti appear a little blocky and misshapen. Hey Celt, next time mention that they should look really good! It's this kind of sloppy monkey paw Genie work that gave us the RAF Mk.II when somewhere, somehow, a fan said, "I'd really like an Assault frigate in this game".

blah blah blah
"The Barnes & Noble I stock for doesn't have an Armada endcap anymore."
Theres fluride in the water?
In places, Ginkapo. Sometimes it occurs naturally, sometimes 'unnaturally' and for all we know, sometimes supernaturally! Because 'why not'?
Well, you'll have to read our article when it is released. Can't give all the fun away. We've learned something from FF afterall. But a teaser: board game geek has an accurate list of casual members with Armada collections and very easy to conduct random sampling. Couple that with a random sampling via polling of retailers and you'll see we fall within the 95% confidence interval. The methods will be posted in the bottom of the article via our web link.
Now back to 3 strikes and you're out. Anyone want to PM me on and verify this is the standard practice. How many of you out there have 4,5,6,7,8 warning posts and haven't received a threat of a lifetime ban?

Oh, don't get me started on the fluoride...that was the lead of my time before the Romans got crazy on that...

And this is bad? C'mon, haven't you been blunted enough by Vics and ISds? 20 points? Word.
