Why does Mana include Evades? Many say it's because of future upgrades, and they could be very right! There might be future crew cards that give evades or Possibly the occasional use of Cool Hand?

What if you were crazy. Like a fox, and used this:

Cloaking Device - Illicit

Styguim Particle accelerator

That could possibly be a cloaking/cloaked Mana that can pass evades, focuses and just hide in her 4 evade dice.

Right now, I think Cool Hand is the only way for her to get an evade token.

But yeah, it's future proofing. Basically, you're getting rid of all of your beneficial tokens, and some of the not-beneficial ones.

I think it might just be a case of setting things up for future upgrade cards that could give Manaroo an evade.

hell, IG-88B or any spray would be pretty irritating with extra evades

even Dengar, while defensively lacking, is already a tough nut to crack with his maneuverability and ability already making him a difficult to justify target

Capt Needa probably meant no ship that big has a cloaking device. Or maybe he was an idiot who likes to take TIE shuttles instead of Lambdas and has majorly screwed up in the past. After all it took nothing for Vader to choke him out.

Weirdly, I know exactly who you're talking about.

Another interesting thing about Manaroo is that her ability includes red target lock tokens as well as blue, which can really help you screw with ordnance lists, Omega Leader, and the like.

Everyone's wrong. The evade Manaroo passes is the evade token that came with the Defender. But only that one.

Well cool hand could potentially be quite the combo. Shame mindlink doesn't pass evades ... That would make it a good upgrade but I suspect manaroo would go from already excellent to broken.

I have had a little success running Manaroo with a PtL Guri. Sadly, Guri's cost and low PS still hinder her a little too much. After the fabled 'StarViper fix', perhaps this will be a little stronger.
