Those Darn JumpMasters Again

By JediPartisan, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Not sure if anyone has tried this, or if this is even a good idea, but how about this?

JumpMaster > Contracted Scout 25

Wingman 2

Extra Munitions 2

Plasma Torpedoes 3

Gonk 2

Unhinged Astromech 1

Feedback Array 2

Experimental Interface 3

Z-95 > N'Dru Suhlak 17

Lone Wolf 2

Inertial Dampners 1

100pt total

The two JumpMasters are meant to be run together at range 1 of each other and the Z-95 as far from them as possible. But maybe there are better things to spend your points on... I just can't seem to tell anymore.

Experimental Interface is unique.

Experimental Interface is unique.

Gahhhh! Foiled again! ;-)

Thanks though.

Also so is Gonk

Something like this would allow N'dru to essentially erase someone by himself in the first or second round of attacks. If he goes poof after that, chances are you're ahead on points. The keep EI and Gonk together (as I assume that's the point) and you can use tactical jammer because you'll be in formation and either 4-lom or Zuckuss to polish it off.

If I may assume, you were planning on gonking every round and clearing stress with wingman, so you could even use a different EPT on the Gonk ship...

You got it. Good fix. Thanks. ;-)

You know that you can only do one Gonk action per turn? Either charge a shield or retrieve one from Gonk, but you cannot do both (falls under only one of the each action per turn)

I don't get it. Isn't the whole point of torpedo equipped Jumpmasters to have Deadeye? Otherwise you will struggle to get the torps off against anything with PS 4 or higher.

I've used EI to this effect so that you Gonk a shield onto the card every turn until you need it, then when you start taking hits, move a shield to your card. The entire time, you still get your normal focus/TL/BR. All you have to do is Zoolander it around the board to keep your stress clear and you're golden.
