Maybe it is as ridiculous as clever but...
In the Spanish forum we came on this:
Can a ship with QLT spend a concentrate fire token while defending? I read the guide and I couldn't find nothing that said that a ship cannot resolve a command out of its own activation. It cannot resolve the dial as long as it is discarded when the activations ends but not the tokens and the timing of concentrate fire just says while attacking and counter is an attack (the FAQ says that). The other commands are not affected as long as their timings involve the activation of the ship.
The second one: could a ship with QLT resolving a counter attack other squadron? I mean, a counter is an attack with all its rules (obstruction, modifiers, defense tokens). The only things that work different are the battery (always blue in a number equal to the counter "level"), the "even dead" rule and it can't be countered. Nothing more is said and it is logic but now, a ship can counter squadrons and per rules (step 6 of attack) when a ship attack squadrons it could choose another squadrons to attack so...
In my opinion a ship cannot resolve a command out of its activation and couldn't shoot counters to every squadron when resolving the QLT but per the rules my opinion isn't right. Could someone more expert than I resolve this to me? Did I miss something in the rules?
