Equalibrium?

By guest313231, in WFRP Rules Questions

I understand how Equalibrium is supposed to work but is there a section which tells you HOW slowly you lose and gain Power/Favor to meet your Equalibrium? It says that it's supposed to happen both in the Magic and Divine book but doesn't tell you what the rate is.

Help?

Spellcasters move toward equilibrium at the rate of 1 power per round unless they are trying to maintain it at excess levels with a manoeuvre.

p. 34 of Tome of Mysteries states "If the spellcaster cannot or chooses not to spend a monoeuvre to control the extra power, he loses one power."

Conversely, he would gain one power until reaching equilibrium if he were below it.

Another example of "could be better" editing. It should just say what the rate is in both examples. I hunted forever to find it in the preist book. The PERFECT place for it is where you are discussing Equalibrium.

I fully agree.

Thx to both of you. That makes sense.

The rules for invoking a blessing when you have insufficient favour refers to favour gain during the Beginning of Turn phase, but I can't find a specific reference to the rate of regeneration anywhere else. I presume it's 1, but I can't prove it.

it isn't specifically mentioned, although there are some indirect references to suggest that you gain 1 power/faith per round until you reach equilibrium.

It's something we hope to get clarified in the upcoming FAQ
