Unless you choose a very hard counter just changing build won't do it. You need to know the tactics for fighting them. There's a lot more to winning a match than bringing the right ships.

What's your Imperial list? Ywing TLT list needs firepower brought on target quickly to lower the number of TLTs firing back. They are sitting ducks though so easy to hit. You just need dice. Heck, I've been thinking TIE swarm would be effective. With Poe, you're not even facing too many Ywing TLTs.

I prefer Vaider + Fell + Imp

Inquisitor is arguably stronger than Vader vs TLTs due to Thrusters.

Imho, forget about Omega Leader, unless he only brings 1 TLT.

Odds are if he's bringing Poe he's got, at best, a pair of TLT Ys. So swarm him. Bring an ace to deal with Poe and overrun his Y-Wings with basic TIE fighters. Once you get one or two into range one he'll be so nervous about it that he'll start making big maneuvering and targeting errors.

Or just bring a couple of TIE Bombers and turn his 1 agility Y-Wings in shrapnel.

Take some x7 defenders and laugh off the damage as you eviscerate him.

agility 3 with autothrusters, PTL and a high ps does work.

Try Soontir and the Inquisitor. Paired with Vader, Omega leader, or Lambda with Palpatine.

Or if youre good at Interceptors, Carnor or Turr(VI).

Vader, inquisitor, and carnor all fit in a list, even with fat predator Vader. The only ship out of those that cares about tlt is Vader and he hits hard enough and has enough hp to put in work before possibly going down. If those 3 can't kill a ywing a turn something has gone terribly wrong.

Get close. The TLTs can't shoot at Range 1, so try to close on them from the rear or sides and take your +1 shots.

Agreed, use that manuverability to get to range 1. Easily the best place for killing y's.

Also I reccomend keeping the shuttle as far away from them as possible. They can kill big ships really quickly!

4 Advanceds with Accuracy Corrector and Cluster Missiles will destroy 2 TLT Y-wings in the first turn of shooting.

Deathrain with Conner Net and Experimental Interface will obliterate Poe as well.

For anyone not familiar with the source of all the cards to make it work, You will need upgrades from the $60-$100 (depending where you shop) Imperial Raider expansion.

Advanceds with the X1 title get a 4 point discount off a system, Accuracy Correctors are only 3 points, so are basically a free upgrade. They come in the Starviper expansion which Imp players bought for Autothrusters anyway, and the IG-2000.

AC Advanced are decent because they can save their actions for defense while always getting 2 hits on the dice, but they aren't super competitive against ace lists.

Cluster Missiles and Guidance chips will give them a single turn of at least 4 damage against low defense ships like Decimators, Ghosts, Y-wings and B-wings. Accuracy Corrector works with both shots of Cluster Missiles, but if you roll 2 hits for one attack, you can use Guidance Chips instead to get you a third hit, once a turn.

They are at a disadvantage against higher pilot skill and arc dodgers, but they are cheap enough you will probably outnumber the enemy by 1 ship.

They will have simultaneous against TLT Y-wings unless you drop some Advanceds in favor of taking higher pilotskill or slapping swarm tactics on some cheap named pilots like Mauler Mithel or Alozen.
