So in game his ability should be to hide under a ship card, and appear when the ship has 2 hull and no shields, remove all damage cards assigned to the ship, then increase the ships attack or agility and pilot skill by 1 for the remainder of the game.

I like the cut of your jib.
Yoda, Kenobi and Anakin(with Vader's pilot ability) would all fit in a Clone Wars era version of the game. Which i'd like to see. Make it compatible, but not a must have...for the game. , so those that o not like it dont have to get into it. Make it have al lthe same rules, but have separate tournamments.
Until something like this happens, Yoda and Kenobi barely have a place in the game.
Kenobi as a crew, maybe, but I'd rather see some sort of Force Ghost for him , but howyou'd incoproate that could be tricky.
Perhaps a EPT - "Use the Force" (but with a picture of Kenobi in ghost form- oh and make it a unique ept)
Rules: so that like ThePenguin's card was..." change all blanks toFocus."...that way Luke shooting the death star is very well represented. He can use the EPT when he takes the shot on the exhaust port. Combined with a focus. ...much more representational than trying to target lock it.

Yoda piloted that Xwing in Empire Strikes Back like a champ! Luke crashed it in a swamp (**** teenage driver), Yoda took over, landed it on dry land, then dropped the knowledge on Luke that I tell my wife every night.
Clearly they are going to release Yoda as a pilot for the Xwing as the fix everyone keeps asking for

But all of them were on ships or stations or could have been on a ship during the primary trilogy, or during a period in which we have ships in this game for. Now if they ever make ships that were in the prequels (as in those that can fight against each other) then we might get Yoda, but until then I wouldn't hold your breath.
Here's my take. Yoda can only go a a ship with Luke crew, -2pts (that makes Luke same points as gunner, but with a touch better ability, could be -1?). It takes a crew slot, so can only be on a ship with 2 crew, but then adds a crew slot to give it back. Because obviously Yoda is on Luke's back. Very situational, but would help us see more Luke Crew on Falcons..?
