When the basic rules are 24 pages long, and the FAQ/errata is now 17 pages long, you would think some sort of update should come along. If only a reprint of some of the cards so that what is sitting with players on the table reflects the way the game is supposed to be played.

First of all, changing the upgrade cards is easy. . .just include the rewrites with all the new ship Waves. Pilots gets to be more of a logistical problem. OTOH, most pilots don't see tournament play, so they could start with a handful of the big ones.

I can't understand why people are having a meltdown. Clearly, any game that is collectible and evolving is at some point going to require a cohesive rethink of "where are we now?" If you are complaining about increasing your investment, you should have played a non-collectible game like chess.
