When one player does not have any ships left on the table, when does the game end. The Rulebook says immediatey, but some are pointing to the new Tournament FAQ saying they can still activate their squadrons until the end of the round. When does the the game end if one player has no more ships on the table?
Tabling your opponent
If you are playing by Tournament Rules, it is the end of the Round after all of the Ships have been Destroyed.
Honestly, you should adhere to that, as it is the only way that Rieekan is allowed to do all of his magic and is thusly fairly balanced.
The Rulebook rules do not make allocation for him, as he was a Wave 2 Release.
How do you know what rules you are playing?
If you're playing 300 points, then you could argue that you're playing Rulebook Rules...
If you are playing at 400, as a default, you're already playing by Tournament Rules... So account for the Tournament Rules and the FAQ documents at that state...

End of the current round.
For three reasons, it should be end of the current round regardless.
Reason one is that General Riekaan has an ability to cause ships to last through the round.
Reason two is that due to overlapping and running off the board, it is highly possible that one or more ships belonging to the winning commander could potentially be destroyed (including those of the aforementioned Riekaan).
Reason three is that squadrons could potentially destroy one or more ships and tie the game up during the squadron phase. This is far more likely now with the Rogue keyword letting ships activate themselves.
Also objectives which fire during the status phase, such as contested outpost or fire lanes. It allows the winning player to finish gathering their deserved objective points.
And be aware of the time when Objectives Don't Matter....
... If all of your Ships are Destroyed, and you're able to Destroy all of your Opponents Ships before the End of the Turn....
... Second Player Wins with an MOV of 0.
Objectives aren't counted.
Dude your enter key must be like completely rubbed off.
Brand new Keyboard. Needs some working in...
Besides, I can always do with more witless snark in my diet.
Your bar for snark is pretty low. I just make observations.
Edit: You use a mechanical? I spent most of my job on the keyboard. I use a Das Pro 4 with brown switches. It's like typing on a pair of breasts.

there would only be two keys on a breast keyboard...
Unless its from total recall.
Do you count enemy fighters still alive after destroying the last ship for scoring purposes?

Kill all enemy ships = always 400 points*, regardless of fighters left or what his bid was.
* plus whatever you got from objectives.
* plus whatever you got from objectives.
Unless they Blow all your Ships up the same turn as well .
Then don't count Objective points.
