But the tradeoff to this is that with comms booster you have to spend 1 energy to only give 1 of your ships a focus token and it also costs 1 more squad point than fleet officer. Assuming you use docking clamps in one of your cargo spaces, there would be a lot of other options for the second cargo space that i would pick before choosing comms booster. Backup shield generator for one which also costs less than comms booster. but if you are not outfitting your gozanti as a carrier and using it for other support purposes, sure comms booster could be a good second option in place of the docking clamps.
