Hey all! I've been seeing that a lot of people out here have been posting full custom expansion packs with brew ships and new pilots for old ships. Unfortunately, there's never been a place to collect all of these custom packs in one place.

I'll start with Jabba the Hutt's personal transport, the Star Jewel:

Energy: 5/0/8/5

Once per round, after performing a [HARDPOINT] weapon attack, you may spend the weapon’s energy cost to perform that attack out of the other firing arc.

Actions: Recover, Coordinate, Target Lock, Reinforce

Upgrades: Team, Crew, Crew, Crew, Cargo, Cargo, Hardpoint, Illicit

Points: ?? I have no idea how to balance Epic ships

With the Minstrel Class, I want to make a ship that fills a powerful support role while being able to pack a decent punch. With a Hardpoint slot and three Crew, the Minstrel can be a versatile combat platform or a great troll ship as well as its support role. The whole ship would have 2 arcs: one on each side that covers the whole flank except for behind the engines. There would be a blind spot close to the front, but the arcs are arranged in such a way that the 2 arcs overlap in front of the ship at range 2 and beyond. Any ship unlucky enough to be caught in that “money zone” is vulnerable to being attacked twice.

After you perform a “1” speed maneuver, you may acquire a target lock.

True to his nickname, “Rancor” is a lumbering, hard hitting threat. You move towards your enemy, you lock on, and you unload.

“Akk Dog” Scirrul

PS8 Scum Z-95 w/ EPT, Illicit, Missile slots

Once per round, after an attack targeting a friendly ship at range 1 resolves, you may perform attack targeting the attacker.

Adapting Dengar’s ability to a more bodyguard role, “Akk Dog” gives your opponent a tough choice: Should I attack the ship he is guarding and risk taking a free attack in return, or should I attack “Akk Dog” and let the ship he is protecting go unhindered?

Scum Only.

ACTION: Assign a Bounty token to an enemy ship. Only one ship may be assigned your Bounty token at a time.

Crew Crew, 4-5 points

Bounty Token Reference Card

When attacking a ship with a Bounty token assigned to it, a ship may convert one [EYE] result to a [CRIT] result. The Bounty token is not discarded at the end of the round. Each player can only have one Bounty token assigned to enemy ships at a time.

Jabba puts out bounties that make not only his allies, but all enemies of the bounty, more effective when attacking the target as they chase those delicious credits. I worded it specifically so that in 3+ player games the other players at the table will also benefit from your bounty token.

Bib Fortuna

Scum Only. Huge Ship Only.

When performing a [COORDINATE] action, you may choose a friendly ship at range 1-3.

Crew, 2 points

Alternate Bib Fortuna:

Scum Only. Huge Ship Only

When performing a [COORDINATE] action, you may choose up to 2 ships at range 1-2. Each ship must perform the same action.

Crew, 4 points

Both versions of Jabba’s Majordomo help in managing Jabba’s underlings, either extending the range or allowing you to choose two allied ships with a single action.

Bodyguard Docks

You may dock up to 6 Z-95 Headhunters to this ship. After you perform a maneuver, you may deploy up to 3 docked ships.

Cargo, 1 point

Performing much the same role as the Gonzanti’s Docking Clamps, the Bodyguard Docks allow you to dock and deploy more ships, but you are restricted only to the weak Z-95s to dock and deploy.

CEC Turbolasers

4 ATK, Range 2-4, 2 Energy

Attack(Energy): Spend 2 energy from this card to perform this attack.

When attacking, you may reroll 1 die if the target is a Small or Large ship, or up to 2 dice if the target is a Huge ship.

In the Legends canon, the Star Jewel and its sister ship the Dragon Pearl were instrumental in defending Nar Shaadaa from the Empire, crippling several Imperial cruisers with their illegal weaponry. I tried to implement this effectiveness against Huge ships into the weapon design.

Hardpoint, 8 points

Buzz Droid Cloud

Action: Discard this card to drop one Buzz Cloud token.

When a ship overlaps this token, remove the token and assign the overlapping ship a Buzz Droid Token

Illicit, 2 points

Buzz Droid Token Reference

At the beginning of each Activation Phase, each ship assigned a Buzz Droid token rolls an attack die and suffers the result.

Ships with Buzz Droid tokens gain: “Action: roll an attack die. On a [HIT] result, discard all Buzz Droid tokens assigned to your ship”

The oft requested Buzz Droids assign ships a slightly nastier Console Fire: it triggers before movement so there will always be an opportunity to take damage, and you can get critted by it.

The Black Hat

Title. Minstrel Class Yacht Only.

+0 Energy

Your action bar gains the [JAM] icon. When you perform a jam action, you may assign ion tokens instead of stress tokens.

A title I made up myself. I think a skilled hacker would be able to scramble a ship's systems enough to cause an ionization effect on the board.

Dragon Pearl

Title. Minstrel Class Yacht Only.

+1 Energy

Once per round, after an attack targeting you resolves, you may deploy a docked ship. That ship may perform an attack.

Jabba’s mother’s Jiliac’s personal Yacht, the Dragon Pearl, was famed for its rigorously trained and drilled Z-95 escort squadron. Once the ship comes under attack, the guards deploy like a swarm of bees to repel the invaders.

Star Jewel

Title. Minstrel Class Yacht Only.

+2 Energy

When you acquire a target lock, assign the locked ship one stress token.

When Jabba declares you as his next target, it causes stress. Seems pretty thematic to me.

Star Jewel Guard

Title. Z-95 Only. Scum Only.

When attacking, you may reroll one die if there is another friendly Star Jewel Guard at range 1.

You cannot equip this title if your pilot skill is 3 or lower.

The Star Jewel Guard title will make the Scum Z Swarm a force to be reckoned with. It can spread out further than a Howl Swarm, and even break off into wingmen. The downside is the fact that you have a bunch of minimum 16 point Zs (since the cheapest ship that can equip it is 14 points)

I wanted to create a new illicit. I do think it would work as a bomb or missile as well. Maybe make a missile and then have it that you can drop the token as a bomb as an illicit.

I figured the Star Jewel Guard was okay because of the precedent of the royal guard tie title and the royal guard pilot being separate cards with similar names.

Also, my bad. The wiki was referring to Jiliac as Jabba's parent so I kind of just went with that.

Back in November, I created a StealthX expansion for a Reddit contest. I'd like it noted that I created this expansion before the TIE/fo blister, so Jaina's ability is not a ripoff. If anything, FFG ripped me off ;P

In keeping with Rebels, this ship will be more survivable than its Imperial counterpart with the higher agility, although I have been considering trading one agi for a hull point.

It's an Advanced X-Wing, so it gets an X's upgrade bar with Tech upgrade.

PS 3 Jedi Knight

"Developed during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the StealthX was a highly modified X-Wing designed to be invisible to sensors. The lack of active sensors meant that only Jedi could pilot them."

22 points (19 for jousting value, +1 for Cloaking, +1 for Astro, Tech, +1 for Pilot skill, -1 for dial (coming soon)), no EPT.

PS 6 Jacen Solo

The first time each round you are dealt damage, assign a focus and an evade token to this ship.

Jacen's whole "thing" was turning his pain into power. It's a good ability for a mid PS ship, because you'll probably take an attack or two before your turn to fire.

24 points, no EPT.

PS 7 Mara Jade Skywalker

You may attack while cloaked. If you do, you must immediately decloak if able after the attack is resolved.

Mara Jade Skywalker, former Emperor's Hand, draws on her assassin training to invisibly stalk her target and attack from stealth.

26 points, EPT.

PS 9 Jaina Solo

When the defender rolls defense dice, if you have a target lock on the defender, skip the "Modify Defense Dice" step.

Jaina flew with Rogue Squadron and eventually came to lead them (hence PS9). Jaina in the novels is a relentless hunter who focuses on her target until they go down.

Shadow bombs are undetectable and loaded with explosives, hence why the defender doesn't get to roll greens.

R9 Astromech

Defending ships cannot add their range combat bonus.

Aww, thank you. I've been very impressed with some of the custom sets made by the community and I hope to make this collection thread a great place to collect all of these great ideas and collaborate together in them.

Wayyyy too powerful pilot skill wise.

Without ACD (it's TIE Phantom Only), the StealthX can go all the way to 9 pilot skill without breaking the game. With no reposition besides decloak, you'll have to take engine with your ps11 Jaina. Still a powerful ship, bit quite the glass cannon for its points, much like their Imperial counterpart.

I know that if anything, the V-Wing would be Imperial or Scum, but i imagine in my mind that the V-Wing is a ship that all 3 factions can use. Let's go with that.

There are some more custom expansion by me here.

In Canon the Jewel was protected by Headhunters. I think that the expansion could come with a cool new missile or maybe mod that works for both.

Or, I could make the star Jewel guard title "Scum Only. Small Ship Only." and only affect primary weapon attacks. This would simultaneously buff the generic Khiraxz, Scyk, Starviper, and G1A. It also leaves the Y and HWK right where they are in "just fine" territory.

I really like the Slave Dancer, that's a cool, thematic, balanced ability. I might throw it on a YV with Zuckuss and Dengar to get all sorts of mods and still be able to destress during the turnaround

When attacking, if you are unstressed, you may receive a stress token (maybe 2) to add a [FOCUS] result to your roll.

Anakin's ability allows you to make problems for your future (stress) and become more powerful in the now. I also wanted to create an ability that does not synergize with PtL so that people actually have to THINK when choosing an EPT (although, to be honest, everyone would just throw VI on him and call it a day). This ability also really synergizes with R2-D2. This was intentional, as R2 and Anakin are best bros and should work well together. You'll need a Shield Upgrade for this to work, but still good fun.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

PS6, EPT

When defending, you may spend an Evade token to turn all [EYE] results to [EVADE] results.

Obi-Wan is a master of defense. No matter what, he uses his evade tokens to the maximum utility. If that ability is OP, the inverse may also work: "When defending, you may spend a Focus token to add an [EVADE] to the results."

My guess is probably not since it's a non-epic league, but doesn't hurt to ask in the main thread. Might allow it if it has a non-epic ship (like the raider, gozanti and transport) and possibly some non-epic-only upgrades besides said ship.

No, and that's the worst part. The irony is you can't really go wrong with cutting the front-middle solar panel plate out and converting the tips to laser cannons. At worst you can cut off the bomb chute.

I have thought about commissioning someone (like the Steele redo) to draw up a semi-good design, but Christmas is upon us and my non-festive self needs to go do things.

Failing that, I wouldn't mind just going with a Invid Clutch or a Chir'daki Deathseed.
