I think Wave 8 has officially overloaded me. I have a regional next month, and I have zero idea what I'm going to fly. There are just too many options right now, and it's only going to get worse if Imperial Veterans comes out within the next 30 days.

And I just know that whatever I select, I'm not going to be happy with it because it means I didn't go with another list that I also liked.

It almost makes me long for the days when the most complex question was "How may TIE fighters should I put in my list?"

Anyone else having this problem?

But if I fly this, then I can't use the Mist Hunter.

Look at the tel/zuckuss/Palob list from Chicago. It performs.

Wedge, Luke, Biggs. No one will see it coming.

Or Scyk X 7.

Seriously tho, you have to ask if you want to spam something or actually build a balanced list with a variety of ships and abilities. After that it's just tweaking the build until you are as satisfied as you are gonna get. Ace, alpha strike, blocker, tank, control ship, most if not all of these roles can be filled if you carefully plan.

Or just use what ya think are cool ships.

When the cards were revealed we kicked local playtesting into high gear and almost all of us have our Regionals lists ready and are just waiting for the days to come.

If you're frustrated and haven't got the time to playtest, then my advice to you is go with what you know.

Borrow them and then crush your enemies. See them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women. It is best in life.

But keep the toilet seat down... and fly casual.

Remind yourself that ultimately you're playing this game to enjoy it.

If you lose first round, then you get to club baby seals all day.

If you lose all your games that's fine, it's practice for more local events.

Bring something you have experience with.

Be calm. Again, you're playing this game to enjoy it.

Disregard your opponents opinion, deny them missed triggers as hard as you possibly can. You don't owe them a pass for their own mistakes.
