I've just picked up a couple of packs in anticipation of my core set getting here tomorrow and trying to figure out something.

Trying to figure out what happened at that the design stage that led to FFG making the quest inserts just slightly bigger than an A4 sheet so they don't fit a plastic wallet.

I mean having read the reviews before buying I knew LOTR was designed to mess you up :-) but who was evil enough to add the extra 5 or 6 mill. And do they have shares in a specialist plastic wallet company :-)

I have checked but can't find a wallet that the quest pages fit, anyone know different? Just to clarify, it's the plastic wallet for a ring binder I'm after. My "lets keep everything neat" OCD is kicking in.

I was going to try working in the phrase "one ring binder to rule them all" but thought better of it.

And I did search the forum, but for some reason the search function finds the term A4 inappropriate :-)

Honestly I've been playing this game since the beginning and this has never come up.

They're standard US letter size, which means they won't fit in an A4 wallet unfortunately. And I've searched in the UK, can't seem to find them anywhere.

I've just found that out. when Bullroarer mentioned size in inches I figured it had to be an American thing. So did the search. You can find them blinky. but based on the price you don't want to find them :-)

There were some specialist photo wallets for ring binders on Amazon. If I can find the link I'll put it up, They were a bit cheaper.

Found the supplier, not sure you should look at this one either though. 10 for £5. Google C1 plastic photo wallets. Not putting link in at that price :-)

I've got all mine in a cardboard-backed envelope that some binder pages for my cards came in.That'll do for the time being.

Just been into Rymans (I presume you are uk) if you want the plastic wallets they go by the term "oversized punched pockets" they are the ones designed to hold 30 sheets A4. The quest sheets fit nicely, with enough room to fit all the quests from one cycle. So one pack will probably get a lot of use. 25 sheets for £3.99. Just checked the Star wars LCG rules book and it fits, I think they are a standard size so think all of the other rules books will fit the wallets as well.

They are indeed 8 1/2" x 11". I bought a large pack of 100 page sleeves, and keep all my quest pages in a binder. I had to cut the two-page ones down the middle crease to make them fit, but all in all, a very nice setup!
