So, I just got my stuff and decided to try and build a list using the 3 Rebel ships I own, since 100 is the norm I aimed for that and this is what I got

Luke Skywalker, X-Wing with R2-D2

Poe Dameron, T-70 X-Wing, BB-8

Miranda Donl, K-Wing, Twin Laser Turret

I know it probably isent a very good list, But it is the first list I ever made using my very limited collection (1 Core Set, 1 Force Awakens Core Set, and 1 K-Wing) But.. What do you think?

First, welcome to the game! Second, working with what you own, the list is solid and you should have lots of fun with it, especially for casual games.

There are ways to improve on it but it would require a few expansions. For example, BB-8 really pairs well with the Push the Limit elite upgrade (currently available with the A-Wing and Imperial Aces expansions). Also, the T-70 X-Wing can benefit from Autothrusters (currently available with the StarViper expansion only). Of course any changes would mean readjusting the other ships, since you're already at 100 points. For me that's a big part of the fun though, building squads and trying them out. As you can see below, my collection allows me to experiment with (too) many options... :-)

On a friends sugestion I got the X-Wing Squad Builder for my tablet and it is realy nice as you can add what you own to it and then it shows you what you have when you build the list in it. Helped me a lot with making the list Hopefully i'l get to play soon, Got a couple of friends that play the game, But neither of them live in this town.. But they have both said they want to come here and play with me soon

As far as first lists with restricted choices go, it's good. You have three good ships and pilots. They put out decent firepower and with two of them having regen ability, opponents will need to focus fire well.

All three are a little below the best they can be (push the Limit on Poe BB8 is an hugely enjoyable combo - crew for Miranda - elite talent /engine upgrade for Like as just a few examples) but to improve any, you would have to make sacrifices elsewhere.

The only pilot I'd really encourage you to try out that isn't in your list is Biggs. Can be hard to appreciate him just by reading cards but he is quite possibly the "best" T65 Xwing.

Stick with Luke at first though.

Trust me, you'll love it. I've been playing less than a year and I'm already so hooked I preregistred for two big tournaments.

Probably the best you could have done using those sets. And you know what? It's not the worst. Could probably win as long as you don't fight against any high-PS super Aces like Soontir and Vader. At the very least, they're solid ships for practicing with.

Also, shame on you for building Rebels.

Hehe, I'm gonna be building on Empire too. But of the two peopel I'l have most of my matches against, One plays Scum and the other plays Empire. So I thought I'd build of Rebels first and made a list for them, I did get a extra Empire ship in my last purchase too, A Inquisitor's Tie. Havent made a list for Empire yet, But I will!
