Boba Fett + Moralo Eval

Over time I have fallen head-over-heels for Scum. My previous go-to was Brobots with different variations, but I've found a list that I think I like a little more. Similar, but also very different.

Boba Fett: PTL, Recon Specialist, EU, Seismic Charge

Moralo Eval: HLC, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, Dengar, Dead-man's Switch

We all know how strong Boba is, but I'm loving this variation of him. PTL for action economy, Recon for extra dice mods, and EU for repositioning (either close the gap to his Range 1 bonuses or run away for an extra die). Plus, the bomb just for funsies, and to make sure if you end up behind him you will take damage.

Moralo is a monster if you let him do his thing. With HLC, since it basically turns into Donut Dash with half the coverage but no donut hole. And it is surprisingly hard to get behind a well-flown YV. Moralo can just fly around the border of the map until he's laid down the pain. Zuckuss and 4-LOM make it so much easier for him to hit with his 4 dice. Zuckuss allows you to take stress tokens for reach defensive die you make your enemy reroll, and Moralo can pile on the stress and the YV doesn't care (that 3-turn). 4-LOM forbids you to spend a focus or evade token on defense in exchange for an ion token. This can trigger once for free (large base and all). Dengar is Predator but with an emphasis on unique pilots rather than low-PS. And Dead-man's switch just so he can damage you more if you take him out while he's close to you (and an in-a-pinch stop maneuver means he can stay close if he really wants to).

I've found that Moralo is a huge primary target because of the punch he packs and his 1 agility die, especially with the new munitions buffs. At least, he needs to be, because if Boba is attacked first and he's in the right spot, not only can he survive a powerful alpha strike with minimum damage, he can lay waste to you. He's an end-game monster but can also survive good alpha strikes. And if you leave Moralo alive, he will chew you to pieces. So you just need to target Moralo early and hope you survive against Boba's slow-burn.

I also used to have the K4 Security Droid on Moralo, since it was free target locks, but I much prefer Dengar. I don't have to restrict myself to green maneuvers for it, so it encourages me to move faster when I can/need to and means I don't care near as much about Zuckuss' stress generation, which only makes my 4 attack dice that much more effective.

This list survived a triple-JM5K list in a small store tournament. Granted, he had some poor dice on his munitions, but it still survived after 6 munitions shots. And I'm having a blast with it.

Thoughts?

Personally,

Drop RecSpec for Tactician, PtL for VI, and add Slave-I and Extra Munitions to Boba. Now he can threaten aces with PS10, boost, his ability, and Tac. And doubly threaten swarms with Seismics.

With the 2 points you have to work with, drop Deadman's Switch and add Engine Upgrade to Moralo. This helps keep his HLC facing the right way as long as you don't load up on too much stress with Zuckuss. Alternatively, add Inertial Dampeners and maintain the initiative bid.

On Boba, I'd switch bombs for stims. Because there's always that turn when you need to take boost and evade and are still under heavy fire.

On Moralo, I'd drop Deadman's Switch and either go for Dampeners (since you don't care about stress) or add the extra point for Feedback Array (against acewings).

Other than that, PS10 Boba is what you'll hear the most about. But, if this is working for you, keep at it.
