This list started as a bit of an afterthought; One night not too long ago at a casual game we ended up playing a 2v1 @ 200points a side. being the "1" in that equation I ran out 4bz, and needed something to fill out the last 100 points from what I had with me.

That list was a little different since I put it together on the fly (different phantom pilot, ghost had bombs instead of some of the stuff it has now... minor differences).

As it happens, the 2v1 was somewhat of an astonishing landslide victory, and that piqued my interest to the possibility of this half as a standalone 100 point list.

So I reconstructed to the best of my memory, tested a little, tweaked, tested a little more... I realised pretty early on that the bombs were wasted points, and since I didn't feel like putting Prockets on Jake or dumping points on the phantom... Toughening up the ghost was the way to go.

Which is where we arrive at what we have now. The ghost will soak anywhere between 18-26 points of damage (depending on what size packets that damage comes in), and that is before you factor in Kanan's ability to cut attack dice. Interesting (and slightly counter-intuitive) thing; the attack(s) you want to spend your focus to soften are the ones that you think are going to do the least damage. Given the choice between sapping a 2 dice attack and a 4 dice attack, you bring the 2 dice down to 1... Every time. This way you can maximise the benefit from the reinforced deflector.

Anyway, Ghost is Ghost: The ion cannon turret makes it really annoying, and the primary attack still hits like a truck... And it can soak a lot of damage, even compared to other ghosts. (can still melt under concentrated fire, but it lasts a while longer).

Jake is well... Jake. He does what he does, which is usually zipping around the flank and tying up the opponent from the other side whilst they're engaging the ghost. Oh, and when it comes to the late game Jake will probably still be there because they've focussed on the ghost... and if you've prioritized your targets correctly, they shouldn't have anything left that can reliably catch him.

The Phantom? Well, in an ideal world you never have to launch it. that's why it's a budget Phantom. It's fine for mopping up after the ghost, but don't expect great things from it.

Like I've said, this has been through what testing I've been able to manage on my free time. My casual group is a little short on experience (like myself) but we are all addressing this at a fairly rapid pace. I've also managed to take it for a few spins on the squadron benchmark site. It's been tested, but I don't think it's really been through the wringer yet.

If you've read down to here, I salute you. I also want to hear what your thoughts are. I think there's some potential here, but I'm always open to improvement, and most of you guys have a lot more experience at this game than me.
