Yes! Zuckuss is your boy. His loadout depends on how many points you have knocking around, and what the rest of your squad looks like.
But bottom line, Zuckuss loves things like crackshot, fcs or preferably dengar, the title, maybe VI, 4-lom if you're on a budget, etc...
Try this loadout:
4-LOM w/Outlaw Tech, Adv Sensors, Rage, Title+Tractor Beam
As long as you keep him within range one of either a friendly or enemy ship, he can do reposition shenanigans like nobody's business, shed stress and do it again next round. His favorite tricks include using adv sensors to rage before doing a green move, so he ends up with just one stress that can be dumped on friend or foe at the end of the round, or doing adv sensors TL and a red maneuver, ending up with focus/TL.
I like to fly him alongside Palob w/Wired, TLT Zuckuss. Palob dosen't care about stress, and will happily accept some from 4-LOM.
4LOM/Zuckuss/Title. Keep him cheap, he dies FAST. Add an EPT depending on the list - VI, adaptability, or crack shot.
Maybe add an illicit, Inertial Dampeners or Feedback Array could be useful.
Edited by thespaceinvaderI like Zuckuss with VI, Advanced Sensors, Dengar Crew, Title. Good enough PS and repositioning to annoy the likes of the Inquisitor and Soontir. Plus 4-5 dice with up to 2 rerolls from dengar can pack a huge punch.
I've been having some luck with 4-LOM with Stay on Target, Advanced Sensors, and Outlaw Tech. Deliberately pick a move you don't want to do at the right speed, advance sensors an evade (or target lock if you are sure you won't be shot) then stay on target to make every move red. You get a stress to pass and a focus token from the Tech. If you can pass the stress every turn, you get to change your maneuver and double action every turn. It falls apart a little bit if you don't end combat in range one of anyone, though.
I'm going to second stay on target + advanced sensors + outlaw tech.
Doesn't work so well versus higher pilot skills, which is unfortunate given 4-lom's middle of the road PS.
But you can fly circles around lower pilot skill ships (especially if you spring the extra point for the title).
Double action, change your maneuver, no stress (as long as you can keep another ship in range 1). What's not to like...
Thanks for help : )
I've been having good fun with this list recently
PS 5 - Gand Findsman [Juke, Sensor Jammer, •Dengar, Tractor Beam, •Mist Hunter]
PS 5 - Gand Findsman [Juke, K4 Security Droid, Sensor Jammer]
PS 5 - •Palob Godalhi [Determination, Hull Upgrade, Ion Cannon Turret, •Cloaking Device]
I love how juke and sensor jammer work together, especially with palob stealing a focus each turn!
